    Typical for LR dealers.

    What does the $6K up front get you? All your up front fees and taxes?

    Michaell, I was negotiating RRS few months back and tried the same thing (asking for base MF), where I got a push back and salesperson telling me MF provided (marked up) is the only one used by dealership

    he told me wherever I got my info its incorrect... dealers will always try to discredit the info on MF and what's a base one hence IMO its better to negotiate on monthly pmt than to get in discussion on MF base accuracy

    Well, sure, that's what the dealer wants you to believe.

    If you know the numbers, and can calculate your own payment, the dealer has nowhere to hide.

    Frankly, we tend to advise folks against getting a Land Rover (or Jaguar) for exactly these reasons.
