    Sorry, residuals don't work that way. After 15K, each brand and bank determine how the extra miles affect the residual. You'll have to ask the dealer how it works.

    Hello, took home a 2020 Kona Ultimate 36/10K $3000 which it included all the fees it came out to $299 month w/tax
    NJ

    ** Came in to the dealership with the idea of getting a Santa Fe or Tucson since I couldn’t work out a deal with a Honda but for a short commute found it perfect.

    I was recently offered a 36/10K lease for a 2020 Kona Ultimate AWD in 60091 for $365 / month (all taxes, fees, title, etc. included), with $0 money down, and only first month's payment ($365) due at signing.

    Is this a good deal?

    If you are paying first payment and DMV at signing (?), then why does the $2250 rebate only lower the adjusted CAP by $650, relative to the selling price? Other than the acquisition fee, what else is added to the Gross CAP?

    Sorry, I'm conflating two versions of the offer. The original offer was:
    MSRP $27,365
    Selling price $24,995
    Net Cap Cost $24,344.58
    $2250 lease rebate; residual $15,871.70
    $314+ tax with $0 Down

    I asked for the price with $800 down and the answer was $276+tax

    Is that helpful?

    Asked dealer for clarification, he replies: $2250 doesn't change selling price. Out of $2250 some goes towards up front taxes and $650 is the acquisition amount. Its a little confusing if you want to come in I can have some one explain it better.

    Easier to look at it this way:

    Working cash
    $2250 rebate
    $800 cash from you
    =$3050 total

    Upfront costs
    $300 1st payment (est)
    $400 DMV/doc (est)
    $650 acquisition fee
    $250 upfront tax (est.. on rebate/acq.fee)
    =$1600 total

    $3050 minus $1600 = $1450 leftover for CAP reduction.
    Yet, the Net CAP is only $650 less than the sale price.

    Seems like we are missing $800.

    Here is another question:
    Is your out-of-pocket actually $800?
    Or is it $800 + 1st payment + etc..?
