    forgive me if I am being dumb. the adj CAP 42400- Residue 28050= 14350
    the total payment is 2495+ 35*439= 17860
    the difference is 3510, I understand there is interest included. but what is the rest of the 3510?
    It's (35 X 439) + $995. $1500 of that $2495 has contributed to the CAP cost reduction. You are counting it twice.

    Thanks. Yeah wanted to trade-in. Took to carmax and they were willing to pay only $5000 for the older car. Accessories were in lieu of taking further $1000 in cap cost reduction which we had negotiated.
