I have no idea why you would put a down payment on a lease. And if you did (which the dealers try to get you to do as a "cap cost reduction" to get the monthly payment down) you wouldn't instead do a MSD. After all, not only do you wind up with a lower monthly payment and lower finance charges, but you get that money back in the end.
If the car gets wrecked you don't have the issue of potentially losing that down payment value either, correct?

Any up front money to cap reduction (or fees) that aren't MSD related are at risk of loss if the car is stolen or totaled.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the info. I signed a deal with this info and I’ve been thru a handful of brands/models and 2 months of trying to find a decent deal at my lease end. I’m exhausted. But this helped so much. No dealer came anywhere close to your numbers at first - but when I would offer based off this info - it really helped me see the bs for what it was and gave me the footing I needed to get to a pretty good deal. Thanks again.

No specific info on fleet, but in my experience with Mercedes, the fleet discount incorporates this incentive. Which would mean just $750 more available, due to fleet.

@Michaell : some loaners are probably still floating out there. Do MF and RV not work the same way for them? Currently looking at a 2020 C300 sedan with 5k miles. Realize no incentives but is there a way to Calc MF / RV in 28806?

We don't show any supported lease programs for the 2020.

The dealer may have some sort of lease to offer, but I doubt it would be financially feasible.
