2016 Acura TLX Lease Questions

Came into a local acura dealer the other day and was offered a deal of 375 a month for 36 month, 15,000 miles per year tax included on a 2016, not a 2015 TLX 2.4 cyl Base. Anyone think I would be out of my mind to not take the deal? They are paying my final 3 lease payments on my TSX, 1000 dollar loyalty rebate and a discount of around $3,800 dollars. All they are asking is for my first payment and fees with comes out to roughly $700. Need to make a decision by 5pm today 1/2/2016. Thoughts anyone?

That's on a 2016? are you sure its not a 2015? I would jump on that all day? where are you located and what is the name of the dealership? I'd change my plans today to go and get that deal!

Ugh! I'm in North Carolina, I don't think I can drive my TSX up that way quick enough, but if I were you, I'd jump all over that in a second!

Dealer in Rhode Island, I live in Connecticut, which its only a hop skip and a jump away.

Not enough information .. what is the MSRP and net cap cost?

36/15 lease numbers on the 2016 TLX 2.4 base are 59% and .00077.

Would like your thoughts on a lease deal I just completed for a 2016 TLX 4 cyl base. 36 month lease at 15K miles per year. Put down $850 which included first month payment. The monthly payment is $335.00 total (which includes base payment of $307.34 plus tax of $27.66). The sticker price was $32,615. Per the lease agreement, the "agreed upon value of the vehicle" was $29,280.09 and the "gross capitalized cost" was $30,235.09.

Thanks. Failed to mention that I had $1,000 lease loyalty and they picked up my last 3 lease paments on my TL. Still think it was a pretty good deal?

Please note that the offer posted by acuradriver99 on January 2, 2016 is almost identical to the offer I was given (same car, same lease term, same milage, same down payment by $50, same loyalty rebate, almost sale price, same 3 month lease payoff & same deadline to make a decision). Only real difference is that the monthly payment is $25 higher than I was actually quoted which makes the offer I was given sound pretty good. It appears that the offer by acuradriver99 was posted within hours after I mentioned this site to the salesman. Then, that same afternoon there was a very quick exchange of emails with eaglesfan2015 suggesting this was a great offer. Assuming the posts are in chronological order, eaglesfan2015 knew where the dealer was located before that information was posted. Hopefully this is all just a coincidence.

Engine: 3.5L V6 CYL
Drive: Front Wheel Drive
Trim: V6 Advance

42 month residual is 56%

Numbers are good through today

36 months lease 12k miles. $0 down and $425 per month (includes last payment waived off from my last lease --$450 and includes 4 oil changes and tire rotations).

Not enough information -- we need the MSRP and the net cap cost to model the payment.

Lease numbers for the 2016 TLX V6 with Tech are 58% and .00077 for 36/12, with $1500 lease cash.

The cap cost doesn't look right - could you have meant $35,000?

Even still, using $35,000 as the cap cost, I get $341/mo + tax as the payment. Quite a gap to the $425/mo you've been quoted.

$500 lease cash on base models, $1500 on tech/advance models.

60% residual for 36/12 on base models
58% residual for 36/12 on all other models

Add 7% to residual for 24/12.

Add 1% to residual for 10K/yr

2.4 Base - 61%
2.4 Tech - 59%

EDIT - my apologies, the $2250 lease cash is for the 2015 model. For 2016, the lease cash is $500 for the base trim and $1500 for the Tech trim.

It's a factory to dealer incentive. They don't have to give you any of it. Use your knowledge of it to negotiate a better price.

$3000 lease cash. 49%/47% residual for Tech/Advance.

Don't know the money factor, but it's likely .00165.

FYI Purchased 2016 TLX V6 Tech vehicle cost 36000 cap cost 37000 (cost plus tax) due at signing 750 (1750-1000 acura loyalty) license 1st month, doc fee bank fee
So selling for invoice minus lease cash and acura loyalty

I'm not satisfied because I get $1k loyalty bonus + $500 lease bonus cash before dealer discount. Therefore the dealer discount is only $708 or 2.1%. I should be closer to 7% $2300 dealer discount or am I dreaming. Thank you in advance.

I get $386/mo with tax using those numbers.

We don't track selling prices - can't tell you how much better you can do on price.
