I wonder if there will be a Black Friday extra incentive or similar

    Hello,

I need some help on lease numbers for a 2016 X5. I'm looking at a demo model with about 1300 miles on it (at about a 12% discount before incentives). They have quoted me a MF of .00131, which appears is correct, but they are quoting a 55% residual off the MSRP on a 36/15 lease. Being a demo with over 1k miles, does this residual amount seem accurate?

    Thanks!

That is the base residual. The reduction is $0.20-$0.30 per mile, so the actual residual will be $250-$400 less than that number.

Don't know what BMW plans to do after the holiday later this week.

Hey Everyone, I found what seems to be a pretty decent "managers special" on a '15 X5. MSRP 65,795 - Sale price 56,795 (including all available incentives). I'm new to leasing, and have been trying to learn the math. What should my target lease price be for 36month 15k/year? I'm coming up with about $694 with zero down if I am doing my math right. Second question, are MSD's worth it. How much can I save on my monthly payments. Thanks is advance! --Jeremi

    .00131 and 53% for 36/15 on the 2015 X5.

Using your MSRP and sale prices, I get $729/mo + tax with $0 down.

Yes, MSDs are worth it - if you max out the MSD, the pre-tax payment drops to $684/mo. And, you get your MSD monies back at the end of the lease.

Hi All..i am a little nervous that my dealer is not taking off the full fleet discount for me... the dealer said they are taking off $500 dollars from the out of pocket and $10 a month for the fleet discount. (20 bps). I am also doing the MSD... does this sound right?

We don't have any information on the fleet discount program, sorry.

If you provide the details of your lease (MSRP, selling price, lease term and miles per year) we can figure out if the MF is marked up or not.

Rarely is the MSD monies not returned to you in total. Unless you really trash your car during the lease term.

If the car is stolen or totaled, the MSDs are returned to you (unlike a down payment).

This deal they are offering me on a 2015 X5 diesel seems a bit high. The MF is probably the issue... but they said they always mark it up like this.

    MSRP $68,145 Adjusted price $66,145

36 month /10k lease Residual 56% money factor .00171 $3k down $1,065.98 $5k down $1,004.69 $7k down $943.43 The payments include the monthly tax. The amount down quoted includes first month's payment and licensing fees. The rest is cap reduction.

MF is marked up ... base is .00131. We don't recommend making a down payment on a lease; that money is at risk if the car is stolen or totaled.

There is $3500 of incentive money available on the 2015 X5 diesel, so you aren't seeing much of a discount, either.

Not a good deal, any way you cut it.

Huh, they did not mention any incentive on the diesel, only on the hybrid model.

I also own an existing BMW which I think gives me the loyalty credit. I think NJ DMV fees are registration, title luxury tax. Which comes out to around $500. Thank you in advance.

    With your numbers (55% residual for 36/15 and .00131), I get $708/mo + tax.

Find out what the net cap cost is - if higher than the sell price, ask what's been added.

Can you please provide Feb-16 MF and RV for 2015 X5 sdrive and xdrive? 12K/36mos.
I am considering a couple factor demos.
I read there is $2000 customer cash incentive. Does that apply to 2015 too or just 2016? Thank you.

Hi, our local dealer has a bunch (20+ between two locations) of leftover 2015 X5 35i's on their lot. Can you tell me what March MF & RV are for 36 mo / 15k lease?

Also, does BMW have any current rebates, incentives or loyalty offers going on?

Lastly, how much off MSRP should we expect with this being a 2015 leftover. MSRP is $60,775. Without askiing they offered 15% ($3,875).

When I asked what MF & RV their number was based on they said .00175 (which has to be marked up bc this dealership is notorious for doing that) & circled the RV $$$ on the quote instead of telling me what the % was. When I pushed they said 45%; which again, sounds horrible.

Can you help by providing current info? Thanks so much!

Well... 45% isn't the correct residual, so something is up, or they aren't using BMWFS, and either way, that raises a big reg flag.

Sit down with a sales manager and ask him what's up with these vehicles.

Well, we got our X5 a week ago. We ended up getting the 2016 Space Gray X5 sDrive 35i M Sport with optional 20" m sport wheels, black dakota leather, and driver assistance and driver assistance plus.

The car stickered for $67,050. We got this down to $61,000. They gave us $500 for a trade in on a beaten to death 2000 camry.

Out the door we paid $5500. This inluded a $3000 refundable deposit. Our MF went from .00135 to .00107/ 60% residual at the end of the lease

    36 mo/36.000 miles

    $727

Already put almost 1000 miles on it and loved every mile. :)

I feel like we got a good deal. We couldn't wait until the end of the month or quarter to see if we could get more money off.

Despite me "feeling" like we got a good deal, does this look like a good deal? It may not be the absolute best, but again we couldn't wait. We were in negotiations with 4 other dealers and none of them came close to this price.
