Any update on incentives and 36/10K residual for X5 sDrive35i ?

    .00129 and 59% for 36/10
And no incentives. Bad month for leasing an X5 then. I guess next month might be better.
Anything is possible. But, BMW has had no problem selling or leasing every X5 that they make without incentives. If that continues, no reason for them to start discounting now.

If I am leasing a new vehicle in Texas from the same dealership that I leased my current vehicle from, would I get tax credit on the new lease? It seems like the dealer would get tax credit since they could use the original vehicle as a trade in, but does that credit usually get passed to the customer or is that something I would have to fight for?

I think you'd have to ask the dealer ... I've heard of dealers in TX offering tax credits on leases, but I don't know how or when they are available.

I think the tax credit goes to the leasing bank, who owns the previous car, and the new one..

Sometimes, they offer those tax credits to the consumer, as a lease incentive.. but, I'm not sure how or when they do that...

I am sure that you aren't entitled to a tax credit from the state.. unfortunately...

Yeah I got a tax credit on the last car I leased from BMW even though I didn't trade in another car, but supposedly bmw only offers that in December for Texas. But I can see your point, unless the dealer buys the car from BMWFS there is no way for them to use the car as a trade in.

    Hi,

Is this a good deal for NJ on a 2015 X5 lease? From the numbers I plugged into my spreadsheet, it looks too good to be true unless I am missing something.

MSRP: 62600 (Mineral White Metallic with Mocha Dakota interior, includes Premium Package, Cold Weather Package, Driver Assistance Package, Poplar wood trim, running boards, chrome line exterior, destination charge of $950)
    Selling Price - $57,495
Cap Costs - $57,774 (includes vin etching)
Residual - Set at 58% for the 36 month/12k mile per year term by BMW monthly, which for this vehicle comes to $36,308
Money Factor - Base money factor currently available at 0.00129.

    $4250 due at signing
    $718 - First month's payment
    $1808 - Sales Tax
$795 - BMW Lease Acquisition Fee
$312 - Estimated Motor Vehicle Fee
    $6 - NJ Tire Tax
    $299 - Doc Fee
    $230 - NJ Luxury Tax
    $77 - Tax on Fees

Base MF and a decent discount from sticker. I'm showing a payment of $672/mo with those numbers.

    My calculation:

    Net cap cost : 57774, Residual = 58%. Residual value = 62600*.58 = 36308

    Depreciation = 21466 (57774 - 36308)
    Finance charge = 4369 = (57774 + 36308) * 0.00129 * 36

    Lease cost = 21466 + 4369 = 25835
Per mo = 25835/36 = 717.63 (Sales tax is due upfront so not taken into account for per mo charge)

Do you mind sharing how you arrived at 672?

I have a dealership insisting the bottom line on MF/residual is .0013/59% on a 2015 X5 i35X for 36 months 10,000 miles. Does someone have a resource I can cite on the residual, as I thought it is currently 60% on a 36/10. Thanks in advance.

Could you please advise on quality of these numbers? Given 36mo/10k.

Selling price = 79,600 (could only get 3.5% below MSRP)
    Bank fee = 990
    Lic & Reg = 600
    Doc Fee = 80
    7 x MSD = 7,350

    Payment before tax = 962

Thanks! I am getting a MF of .0008 and 59% residual. So is this legit? How much better can it get?

I confirm the .00080 MF (after MSD) and 59% residual for 2015 X5.

Are you adding in the fees to the selling price or not? Together, that adds up to about $47/mo on the lease.

Bank fee is marked up, as well - base is $795 from BMWFS.

X5's are popular and it's harder to get a discount on them like on other models (5-7% discount from MSRP is typical for 3-series, for example)

Only the $990 bank fee is added on to the selling price for a net cap of $80,590.

Should the bank fee be included in the net cap? Otherwise, everything else looks kosher in this quote?

    Thanks!...

+1 to what Michaell said.. acquisition fee is marked up by $200 and really need to know your MSRP to calculate the payment properly.
I'm also not sure why MSD is $7350. It should be $7000 (based on your payment of 962 round up to 1000 x 7).

You can do at invoice or below invoice deals in NY/NJ region. I got my X5 at invoice few months ago. If you attend Ultimate Driving event before placing the order it will give you another $1000 credit towards lease/purchase of any new BMW.

Run some numbers on my app (Leasematic) and this is what I get (need to know your State and tax rate):

Great. Thanks for the helpful replies. MSRP was $82,450. I'm not sure why acq fee & MSDs are marked up, but I will find out.

Also, I will check out your app. Thanks again!...

I am beginning to talk to my local dealer about leasing an X5D for 36/12. Can you share what the current MF and residuals are? Also, are they still allowing MSD's? If so, how much will the rate go down with each SD and how many are we allowed to do?

    Thanks!

    .00129 and 58% for 36/12.

A maximum of 7 MSDs are allowed, each of which reduce the MF by .00007.

Thanks everyone for your help in getting the above deal.

As for the ultimate driving event, here is the link.

Basically, when you go and register, 24 hours later, BMW will send you via email, a unique code for $1k towards the lease or purchase.

    Asking for my father...

    Price of the car $61,650.
Base price 56,200 plus cold weather package 550,
plus driver assistance package 1400 plus premium package 2500.

Monthly payment with no down is $850 including tax in Michigan. Start up payment is $1140 includes first month payment, registration and license fee.   This is for 36/15k

Don't know any more details.   Thoughts on the deal?

Btw the dealer told me June numbers are identical to May.

    MSRP: $63,550
    Sale Price: $59,000
Term: 36 months, 10,000 miles per year, first payment due of 808.99 only at singing includes all bank fees and etc.. registration not included (close to $1200 in NE!!!! HEFTY
    Monthly Payment: $756.07 ($808.99 w/ 7% sales tax)

The other option is SD of $5600 and than MF drops from .00128 to .00079.

Total due at signing would be $6,357.76 with first month payment included ($757.76) including the 7% sales tax and than remains 35 payments of 757.76

How does this sound? This is my first time leasing and kinda nervous

    Thank you!!

Hello, new to this forum but it was very very helpful going thru all the discussions so far!

I have been offered following deal on bmw x5

    Thank you!!

Without adding anything to the selling price, I get $721/mo.+tax. So, if additions are about $1200 (acq.fee, etc), then your quote is right on the money. .00128 MF and 59% residual

The reduction for MSDs also looks correct (and, a smart move).

The discount looks good, especially with no markups to the money factor. The only way to go lower is to negotiate a lower selling price.

Thank you! I was getting something different, not sure where it is wrong. I am going with MSD of $5600 and took in to account MF of 0.00079

    Net cap cost : 59000 (selling price), Residual = 59%. Residual value = 63550*59 = 37494

    Depreciation = 21506 (59000 - 37494)

    Finance charge = 2744 = (59000 + 37494) * 0.00079 * 36

    Lease cost = 21506 + 2744 = 24250

Per mo = 24250/36 = 673 + Tax (7%) = 720 per month. Due at signing, I am responsible for first month + $1200 license plates and of course SD $5600.

Pl let me know if this is incorrect, coz i am given rate of $757/month with SD option

Your CAP cost can't be the same as the selling price, as you said the payment included bank fees and everything else.... That money has to come from somewhere and in this case, it has to be added to the selling price.

But, your math is correct, if the CAP is the same as the selling price.

What is the mf and residual for 36m/15k? Also, can you get better deal leasing an existing car on the dealer lot than by custom ordering?

    .00128 MF and 59% residual.

In theory, you should be able to make a better deal on an in-stock unit.

Hi. Looking to lease a 2015 X5 I live in TX so 6.25 percent Sales Tax. Here is what the Sales assc. is saying is the best deal

Here is the structure of the lease on a new X5 MSRP $63,650 :

    Sales Price - $60,650 (5% discount)
    58% Residual based on 12,000 miles/year
    $4,000 down + 1st pymt/reg fee
    $27,000 for your Q50
    $38,150 - Payoff

    Pymt - $1,129/month

    * includes all tax, title, license
    * includes GAP insurance

She is saying that the MF is .00169 not .00128 which is the Buy Factor that BMW never negotiates. I find that hard to believe. Also, if I registered for the drive event I would get another $1K off the sales price.

Thoughts? I am getting around $1150 all in with nothing out of pocket. So with taxes down of $2070 or so would get me to $1090.

    Thanks!

Wow... you are eating $11K of negative equity on your current car? Why? I'd just stop now and keep driving it.. Think about all of that sales tax you paid on the Infiniti, and now ditching it, already?

But, yes.. the base money factor is .00128. Plenty of people get the base MF (though not most). That's adding about $50/mo. to the payment

Great thank you. Do you see any other inefficientcies in the pricing? I'm about 8-9K miles from going over on my current lease miles on the Q50 and need a SUV. Thoughts?
