What is the lease rate for c300, 36months and 10k? Are people still getting 17-18% off MSRP on the c300? I am from the Seattle area and planning to get a car in next couple of weeks. Should I walk off if I do not get that kind of discount?
I went to the Bellevue MB dealer, now owned by AutoNation, and the max they would give me off a new C300 MSRP of 55k, was 3k. I laughed and walked away.
Let us know what kind of deal you find in the Seattle area!
Hi- I'm interested in leasing a 2015 MB C300 4matic Sport and came across a loaner vehicle that the dealer would lease to me for 3k down and $430 per month for 36 months/10k miles a year. The vehicle comes equipped with the premium package, LED lighting, multimedia, backup camera, blind spot assist, panoramic sunroom, manual side sunshades and keyless go. Does this sound like a great deal? btw, the car has about 6k miles on it.

$51,965 is the MSRP. I'm actually not sure what the selling price is on this one.

Seems like a reasonable payment. Does that include tax? (if so, state and tax rate?)
I had a couple of queries, I qualify for a fleet discount on account of the firm I work for. Is the fleet discount of $2500 offered by Mercedes or individual dealers? should I push for the fleet discount as additional to the average of 15% discount most users seem to be obtaining?
Is the MSRP the same as the sticker price? and what is the cap cost? I am sorry for the many questions, I did look for clarifications online but did not come across a straight answer.

Sorry.... no info on fleet discounts. Yes, MSRP = Sticker price.
The CAP cost is equivalent to the amount financed on a loan. It is the selling price + any additional amounts not paid upfront, minus any downpayment.
Hey guys. How does this deal sound? msrp 46,840 Selling price i think was 38,910 va state tax 6% 36 month 10k residual 62% not sure what the money factor was. and payment of 460 a month with zero down

What is the net cap cost?
With the MSRP and selling price you've provided, along with the 62% residual and .00135 MF, I get a payment of $366/mo before tax.
Does VA charge tax against the entire selling price?

Yeah its charged on selling price.
Ouch; that's $2300, or about $65/mo if you add the tax into the cap cost. Still less than the $460/mo quote you got, so there must be some additional fees being added in to the cap cost.
Can someone tell me if this is a good lease deal for a C300 with premium package, rear view camera sunroof, alloy wheels? I am an amateur to say the least.
MSRP $46,840 sale price $38,200 Buyout at end of lease is $27,000
36 months, 15k miles a year, $2,200 down (includes taxes and all charges) payment $500 month.
I am also rolling in $3500 of debt from my trade in since is underwater.

.00118 MF and 59% residual. That would be about $371/mo.+tax. $3500 of negative equity adds about $100/mo.. So, that looks like you are in the ballpark.
Now the dealer changed the terms of the agreement after seeing my trade in. Apparently I am underwater on the loan $5400. They are also now asking me to put down $3000 for everything to drive away (taxes and fees). Below are the two deals they came up with. Do they look good or in the right ballpark? Are they charging too much?

My thank you for your help. This is so stressful
$5500 over 36 months is over $150/mo added to your payment. That's a lot. I'd get more opinions as to the value of your trade. Do you have a CarMax nearby? I used a quote from them earlier this year to get an extra $2000 on the value of my trade in from the dealer.
Also check out the "Real World Trade in Values" discussion here at Edmunds. You might not be as upside down as you think.
Also, I don't see a money factor in either of those quotes .. I'd get the dealer to disclose that as well. It's another area where they can make extra money.
2015 c300 4matic w/ premium and multimedia packages - msrp $49,070 selling price - $44,162.14 36 month 15k residual 59% ($29,526.55) MF 0.00109 NY Tax 8.625% $13 a month maintenance monthly cost $514.98 zero down $3369.71 due at signing (first month payment, $795 acquisition, $390.95 reg/title.doc, $1667.78 upfront sales tax)
With your numbers, I get $502.21/mo. Must be another fee in there somewhere - $400 or so.
EDIT - whoops, never mind. Missed the $13/mo maintenance charge. We're pretty close to one another. Only way to make it better is to get a lower selling price

I ordered a very well optioned 2016 C300 4MATIC with a MSRP of $60,265 and was only able to negotiate a $5500 discount, with any dealer cash that is available when the car is delivered. I've been reading about people getting 15-18% off of MSRP, so I'm thinking I could do better- any thoughts on this? Also, at the discounted selling price, I'm being quoted/estimated (based on the current C300 numbers) a 10k/36mo lease at $694 with tax (SF,CA), $2500 total cash down. This also seems high, after checking the forums. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Generally, better discounts are available on cars that are in stock and the dealer is paying interest on. Your special order will only be on the lot for a day or two, and the dealer knows you want it (you ordered it, after all!).
What is the breakdown of the $2500 due at signing?
I don't know how the $2500 will be used exactly, yet- it was just in the quote. I assume it will be for first month payment, registration, whatever else is common and the remaining for cap cost reduction. If $5,500 off is the best I can get, does a monthly payment of $694 (tax included) seem right and reasonable for a selling price of $54,765. Thank you!
First off, I love this forum and I use it regularly to find out rates. Thanks for the wonderful job Moderators!
That being said, I'm looking into leasing a C400 4matic this month but cannot find the residual or money factor anywhere. Can you guys please post the rates for this month? (Please post the rates for Tier 1+ money factor rates if possible)

With those prices and using the base MF of .00119 and the 36/10 residual of 62%, I get a pre-tax payment of $593/mo. Assuming the tax rate is 9% in SF, that takes the payment to $646/mo.
Ask the dealer what the net cap cost is; might be some hidden fees in there. That, or they are marking up the MF on you.
