Hey guys, new here and want to get some opinions on the lease deal I was offered. I live in NJ
2015 C300 4Matic with Sport, Premium, Multimedia, Lighting Packages, Pano roof, etc. pretty much loaded 36 months, 12K miles per year MSRP $50595 Dealer Price after discounts (ABA, etc.) $45800 Up front - $2250 (bank, acquisition, title/license fees and 1st month payment) MF - .00136, said he would go down to .00126 if I did autopay
He quoted me a payment of $549 a month. I ran the numbers in LeaseGuide and got $526.91 (used 63% residual and 7% tax)
What am I missing? I know their acquisition fee is high ($1095) which I will try and negotiate, but he specifically told me that none of that is being rolled into the lease and I am paying it up front.
Appreciate your input, thanks!
Acquisition Fee should be $795. Do negotiate that if you can. Residual should be 62% for 36/12
Trying to help my dad get a good deal on a 2015 C300 4Matic with the Premium Package and hopefully drive away with a new car this Father's Day. I got 3 quotes thru Edmund's Price Promise but I notice a lot of you are getting a wayyy better deal then what's offered thru Edmund's. I have some experience negotiating lease deals (Audi, BMW, and Acura). I'm having some trouble with Mercedes thou because the trims and packages are throwing me off (I saw a Sport 4Matic C300 with an MSRP around 43k and when I went to the dealership the sales guy said those only go for 50k+). Now he could've been BSing so I'm visiting another dealership this Thursday and just want to be more prepared. I'll list the 3 quotes I got from Edmund's and would appreciate some feedback. (I noticed the quotes don't specify the options but I'm assuming these are all with Premium Packages + Multimedia? I'll find out later on today and keep you all posted.

I am interested in leasing a 2015 C300. I am seeing large discounts in the order of 15%-20%. Can discounts of this magnitude be combined with Fleet Incentives? Currently, there is a $2500 incentive for fleet members. Ideally, I'd like to get a 20% discount in addition to the $2500 fleet incentive(supposedly done after negotations). Does anyone know how this works or has anyone done it? Thank you!

No idea on selling prices, but that seems unlikely..
Money factor is marked up from the base .00136 and the acquisition fee is marked up from the base $795.
Can't really calculate it, because the residual has to be reduced for that current mileage..
But, that said... $1000 upfront and $400/mo. for a $46K MSRP car, at 36mo, 15K/yr? That's a great deal, no matter how you calculate it..
Ask them to use the base MF and acquisition fee... when they balk, ask for free scheduled maintenance.. If they won't go for either, just sign.. lol
I can't seem to replicate their numbers in a lease calculator. I come in at around $380. I must be doing something wrong
This is on a 2015 C300 with premium package, multimedia package, interior package, blind spot detector and heads up display.
The dealership offered I think a good deal on the Price of the car, $8500 off, but for a 24 month lease they are asking for $4780 down and $428 per month including 9% tax
The numbers are as follows: MSRP of the car is $53,000 Selling price - $44,500 Dealer accessories and, title and fees - $800 Residual 69% for 24 month lease - $36,570 Money factor - .00166 (according to them) Acquisition didn't tell me, but assume the most at - $1,000
Based on the Edmunds lease calculator, it should work out to $364 there is a $68 per month difference, are the stiffing me?

Too much information missing.. Need to know how much of the $4780 is going for fees and first payment, then how much for CAP reduction. You can hide a lot of extras in $4780.
The money factor is definitely marked up from the base .00136

It's because the residual isn't 60%. Since the car has 6000 miles on it, it has to be 60% minus $XXX ..
Thanks for your help. They lowered the money factor and Aquisition fee to the numbers you sudgested. New monthly payment number is $366.22.

Hello can you please evaluate this deal.I think its pretty good.

Monthly payment : 399.65/month including tax.I think he gave me a good discount of 6-7k here.

Can you please guide me if i should seal this deal.
Thank you.
I get a CAP cost of $38,850 with .00126 MF and 63% residual. Unless there is tax in the $399/mo. Didn't they give you selling price or CAP cost?
Hi @kyfdx .Yes my mistake i forgot to ask him selling price. The base price he mentioned was 377.03 and 22.62 is monthly Michigan tax which makes it 399.65.
I would be using that for my "due at signing" as i didn't want to put any monies down on my lease. So everything rolled in. Am I getting shafted? Ive read the whole thread but i can't find any trends...

The dealer quotes are higher than what we've calculated .. they may be marking up the MF on you.
Hello I just left the dealership looking to lease a C63 AMG S. Below are the numbers that was given to me and I reversed the numbers to come up with the money factor I believed he is using. My question is can this money factor be right and how does one negotiate on the money factor? Is it a range set by the dealer/MB finance/Industry standard? The term is 36 months 15k miles a year a residual of $38,090.30 with nothing down and a payment of $1869.96. I knew the payment would be high but not this high.

What is the lease rate for c300, 36months and 10k? Are people still getting 17-18% off MSRP on the c300? I am from the Seattle area and planning to get a car in next couple of weeks. Should I walk off if I do not get that kind of discount?

I am considering a 2015 C300 w MSRP of $55,475 and am being quoted $47,909, which I am told is a discount of 10% plus I get the benefit of $2,000 in rebates/incentives back from Mercedes, which I am told is the maximum available rebate on this car at this time.
I am told that the residual based on 36 months and 12,000 miles is 60% and the the lease factor is .00166, which they say is marked up 30 basis points or about $15/month.
Total lease cost including taxes (6.25%) is = $547/month. Cash due at signing includes: (1) first month's lease payment ($547), (ii) a $925 "destination" fee, (iii) $157 for "tag and title," (iv) $298 for "documentation" and (v) $238 for something I can't make out, or $2,266 total due at signing (how much of this is profit -- who gets the $925 destination fee, the dealer or MB)?
Is there more money back from MB than the $2,000 rebate I'm being told is available? Does 10% off plus the $2000 rebate/money back sound like a good deal? Is 60% the true residual? Based on these numbers, how much more is the lease w 15,000 miles vs 12,000 miles? Also, seems like they are marking up the lease more than 30 basis points?

The dealer cannot modify the residual value; it is set by the bank. The dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit. I would work to secure the base rate of .00136, or work with a dealer that is more accommodating.
I don't track selling prices or incentives, so cannot comment on that. Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others are getting, and use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to link to current incentives.

Residual should be 62% for 36/12
What they said... your residual is off by 1%

The base price he mentioned was 377.03 and 22.62 is monthly Michigan tax which makes it 399.65.
Discount -$5000 (dealer specific)
MB Corporate Credit -$2000
Sale Price : $41750
Residual %63
36 Months 10K Miles
I cant remember the other specifics of the sheet, nor did I see a MF on the buyers agreement.
Texas so %6.25 sales tax.
Paying the required fees to take the lease , with my MB corporate credit of $2000 i was quoted $600. With an additional 2000 down, $576.
These numbers just seem high to me.
If I add sales tax to $43750, and use the base MF of .00136, I get a payment of $543/mo.

Not sure that you can reverse engineer the MF from all the other data.
36/15 residual on the C63 is 53%. I get $1528/mo before tax using your numbers and the max .00220 MF.

Below was what they quoted me for lease:
12k/36 months
48% Residual
0.00222 (5.328%) Money factor
The residual are so bad.. it's not worth it.
I just financed my car for 1.99% for 66 months.

I don't track selling prices or incentives, so cannot comment on that. Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others are getting, and use the "Car Research" tab at the top of the page to link to current incentives.
