MF and RV for 36/12 on awd w/tech/entertainment/acurawatch, and the awd advanced w/entertainment. april rates are fine if may isn't available yet
Is the 1k lease cash still available? Not sure how it works, does it act as cap reduction, or do they cut me a 1k check when I close?
I am simultaneously going to purchase an odyssey when leasing this pilot to get a better deal. Think I can somehow get the 1k loyalty bonus as well? Does that bonus work the same way as the incentive?
Thanks for the info!
.00020 and 57%. $1000 lease cash. Numbers expire tomorrow 5/2/16
Need help on quote for 2016 MDX SH-AWD w/Advance & Ent pkg. Asking for ~$3,000 down to cover 1st mo payment $650, tags $480; tax $1500, bank fee $595. MF .0002 and 57% $649/mo; 36 mo. 12k/miles

Those are the correct MF and residual amounts.
What is the MSRP and adjusted cap cost?
Payment seems high given you are paying all the fees and such up front, but need the prices to be sure.
The lease is 36 months, 15000 miles per year. Payment of $396.94 includes all tax and fees. No first payment. Trading in 2015 MDX base model with 21 payments left.

Which dealer are you working with in DFW?
The dealer is in Houston rather. Autonation Acura. He had quoted $391/mo. for 36/15k (Including all taxes and fees) with zero down. But we ended up leasing a base with acurawatch plus for $396/mo.

Newbie here!
Looking at the 2016 base MDX lease with acura watch. 36/12 with first payment down. The dealer came down to $530/month. I am turning in my 2013 sh-awd TL lease 3 months early, which they said has no negative effect on us. They want us to sign tomorrow night. What info do I need on the car to run numbers? This price is way too high!
Thanks!
It does sound high. I leased the same car last week at 36/15 for $396/mo. with nothing down. Plus I turned in a 2015 MDX 22 months early. Ask for 15%off MSRP plus any rebates (lease cash, loyalty cash, etc). I hope that helps and good luck.

Hi, I'm interested in: MF and RV for 2016 MDX Base AWD, Tech AWD, and Advance AWD for 36/12 in CA (SF bay area).
If I'm following prior posts, the May rates are same as April, and 12K is 2% higher RV than 15K thus: 36/12 = .00020 and 59% (Base) or 57% (Tech / Advance). $1000 lease cash (to dealer). 36/15 = .00020 and 57% (Base) or 55% (Tech / Advance). $1000 lease cash. (to dealer)
Is this right? And is there still MF of .00010 for 'sign and drive' leases? Many thanks!

Hello Michaell. Could you clarify if $1,000 lease cash referenced here is good only for Tech and Advance package MDX, but not for the Base model? One of the local dealers telling me that it won’t work with Base. Thank you.
2016 AWD w/Tech MSRP: 50,380 Cap cost: 45,500 12K/56%
They used lease cash, hocus pocus, and the $500 graduate cash. I paid $520 to drive off. Payments of $550 (including all fees & NYC tax of 8.87%) start next month. Very satisfied. Very lean deal. Thanks for all the insight.

Correct. Base trim is excluded from $1000 lease cash.

(the cap cost does not include lease cash or trade-in value)
-if you incorporate trade-in value and lease cash the adjusted cap is: 46,458
What is the monthly number for these figures? We will be doing a sign and drive without paying the first month.
We are trading in a vehicle. I know that using the money towards cap cost reduction is a bad idea. How do you avoid this on a trade-in (the trade is mitigating our tax burden-which in MD is on the price of the vehicle and not usage)?

Thank you for all your help!
There is a difference between using trade equity as capitalized cost reduction (down payment) versus using it to cover up front fees and taxes.
In your case, using it to address the tax on the full vehicle price makes sense; alternatively, you could add that tax amount to the cap cost and spread it out over the lease term.
If you choose the latter, simply have the dealer cut you a check for the equity.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your helpful posts. I have received this offer in Cincinnati, OH and it seems substantially higher.
Acura SH-AWD MD Tech + Entertainment A.Honda Preferred Tier 36/10 MSRP - $52,380 [The website says $51,440, both acura dealers have this as their MSRP] 6.75% Upfront Sales Tax - $1348.75 [ I don't know why this is not included in the monthly payment. Could be an OH thing ?] Acquisition Fee - $595 Cap, Lic, Title - $250 Down Payment - $750
Cap. Cost - $50,027.75
Residual Value - 57% - $29856.60 [57% at 10KMI for Tech+Ent, what is it for 12KMI]
Monthly Payment - $593.06
Even if I use edmunds calculators, it comes down to around $600. Is this correct ?
Lastly he calculates $32.75 + $560.31 (Monthly Depreciation). Does anyone know what this $32.75 is?
What are the details of the "sign and drive" lease option? I'm looking at 40991 price on 45955 msrp for awd base. This has the .00010 MF and no-rebate.
I'm told the regular program has the .00020 MF and a $750 rebate (also available if finance).
What's the delta on these program? For sin and drive, is a payment rolled into cap cost or waived or payments calculated based on 35?
Comments
doubt that Honda and Acura programs can be mixed.

is the lease cash a cap reduction or a post closing cash incentive?
The lease cash is a dealer incentive. Use that knowledge to negotiate a lower selling price.

MF and RV for 2016 MDX Base AWD, Tech AWD, and Advance AWD for 36/12 in CA (SF bay area).
If I'm following prior posts, the May rates are same as April, and 12K is 2% higher RV than 15K
thus:

36/15 = .00020 and 57% (Base) or 55% (Tech / Advance). $1000 lease cash. (to dealer)

I'm told the regular program has the .00020 MF and a $750 rebate (also available if finance).
What's the delta on these program? For sin and drive, is a payment rolled into cap cost or waived or payments calculated based on 35?
thanks
