I just contacted the dealership (a day after) to see if I can adjust the contract to 20K miles and they said it would be 560/month (613 after taxes), but the residual would stay the same. Shouldn't the residual go lower?

Most makes reduce the residual for extra miles, but some charge upfront (or, roll into the CAP cost). Can't say which method Acura uses.

Seems now's the time to lease the 2016s. Seeing huge discounts in CA, $5000-6000 off msrp. There's the $1000 lease cash (except base) and dealer cash of $750, that helps get to that $5000-$6000 off the MDXs.

Wow! Thanks for the insight! That's perfect, we're in the market right now for an MDX here in CA. How do you know about the big discounts? I just ran an inquiry through TrueCar and they're saying the MDX has been selling recently at around invoice (just $2-3K under MSRP). 

Another question, I just got an email from Acura with a private offer certificate for $1,500. Am I able to tack this on top of dealer and lease cash? 

We're meeting with dealers this weekend.

I just ran another TrueCar pricing report and it said the MDX is selling for ABOVE MSRP. With the remodeled 2017 coming to showrooms soon, shouldn't they be going for a lot less?

I'm looking at leasing an MDX AWD Tech in PA. Our local dealer gave us the following preliminary info on a 36/12 lease:

MSRP: $50380
Selling Price: $46500
Fees: $294.90
Taxes: $2,790

Under the base lease payment information they note a Rebate of $500.

They gave a payment of $600 for $0 down and $540 with $2000 down.

How do those payments look?

How much would the payment change per each $1000 we lowered the selling price?

Would this have the same impact per each $1000 of down payment applied?

First, PA taxes the monthly payment, so I don't understand the $2800 line item.

56% and .00020 for 36/12. I get $523/mo plus tax with those prices.

Have the dealer provide you with the adjusted cap cost, and how they got there from the selling price.

Each $1000 down lowers the payment $28/mo, but we do not recommend that. Money would be lost if vehicle is stolen or totaled.

That's a great deal!  10kmiles a year? Why don't you just go for 12k/yr,, not much difference.

Hi. Can you verify this ? 
I am getting a MDX tech plus watch package. MSRP is $49350. I asked for a price of 43k and the rep said he can do that however he is telling me that the cap cost is $44450? He said that he is applying the $1,000 leads cash towards the down and also $750 from his flex credit find towards it? 
He gave me a payment of 504 plus tax. .00020 money factor with 54% residual for 36 months ,15k. Thanks.

That's a great deal!  10kmiles a year? Why don't you just go for 12k/yr,, not much difference.

Wife and I figured we wouldn't need the extra miles since we both live really close to work. We haven't run through the lease numbers with a dealer yet, so if the difference between 10 and 12K isn't much, maybe we'll splurge

Got an email from Acura about a week ago. I think I had signed up online to get updates or news about the brand a few years back. I've gotten similar ones in the past, but I actually paid attention to the email this time around since we're in the market for an MDX. The certificate expires July 5th so maybe there's still time to sign up and receive one...

Turns out the dealer we were going to buy the MDX from quoted me a price by "mistake" and the true value was over $1500 more, so I'm back to shopping deals from different dealers now.

Does anyone know if the $750 in dealer cash that expired on 5/31 was renewed or if there's another cash back offer that's available right now (besides the $1000 lease money)?

i just bought a tech a $465 monthly with zero down.  Dealer gave me the $1750 amount. Said the $750 depends on each dealership and if they still have it left in the pool of funds. Anyways I kept bargaining with them till I got it further discounted and had them throw in the all weather mats, wheel locks. Also split the cost of the advanced running board with them.

That's awesome! Did you get the FWD or AWD? And did that come with Acura Watch? Just read Acura's sales were down 20% in May, so hopefully that translates to more incentives and more desperate dealers...

FWD.Tech 36/15  my dealer was crying foul about how much money he was losing in the deal.   I didn't get the Acura watch since mysteriously the car that I wanted with the color/package got sold all of a sudden   I lit into them and told them that they were living up to the reputation of their industry i.e shady as hell. They   Finally made it up to me by throwing in the all weather mats pro package and giving me the runningboards for half the price.    Although I was happy with the deal I got  with the little sour taste in my mouth.  Really do hate buying a car.

I've got a 2013 MDX with a lease up in Aug (haven't made June payment yet), living in northern NJ, looking to get into a 2016 SH-AWD base, 36 month 7500 miles per year (since i've got 9k miles to rollover on my current MDX).

Dealer is telling me I could get a no money down at signing, $475/mo and they'll cover the rest of the payments on my current lease. I'm getting the MSRP, cap cost, MF and residual shortly but is this a good deal?

What calculator are you using? The selling price of 46,500 is already accounting for $1000 lease cash.

 I use a homegrown calculator.   Online calculators often make assumptions that we cannot account for.  The math is the math

Yes, $1000 lease cash available on all trims except base.

I'm in California and have been getting cap cost offers hovering around $43K (including the $1000 lease cash) for a FWD w/Tech and AW+ from dealers here ($5,640 under the $48,640 MSRP). So you might have room to negotiate. But the inventory in Michigan might be tighter than it is here in SoCal.
