Just wanted to give a heads up on a 2016 MDX AWD with Tech and Entertainment in NJ

MSRP $53k

$507 including NJ tax
About $1700 out of pocket, which was DMV, first month, acquisition fee, doc fee

Deals are out there if you can find the cars. I had no additional incentives other than the Acura provided lease cash for the tech package models

So here's the deal I was offered today from 2 different dealers.

2016 MDX FWD Tech with AWP
MSRP 49580
Adjusted Cap Cost 42917 (that's with all rebates)
36/10 lease
$1500 at signing (includes 1st month)
$435/mo + 6% tax = $461/mo

second dealer was $8/mo more.

This was after a lot of back and forth. South Florida.

Anyone doing any better?

Looking to get a deal tomorrow in Ohio for 2016 MDX AWD with Tech for 36 m/12k. I am guessing MF should be same in all state 0.00020, Need to know the residual value? And if there is any lease cash or any other cash available.

This seems pretty high to me but again this was my first quote...

You need a bigger discount. There is $1750 of lease cash on this model.
That remote start is adding $25/mo. to your payment.

Where so you live, where they tax the CAP cost?

My mistake, the 7% tax is on the Net Cap Cost minus the RV. The law changed last year for IL, it used to be on the cap cost.

Agreed, you can get much more off the price. Without negotiation I have some dealers stating $49,800 or so for a 2016 Advanced AWD model which has a $6k higher MSRP. Also $885 for remote start is way to high. An Acura one is $300 online all day long. It literally takes 15min to install and at most one hour of labor at the dealer.

This is the latest offer from another dealer. MDX AWD Tech with no remote start. I will definitely install that myself. I even found an install video online!

We are putting $3000 down to lower the payments a bit. I know there is a risk involved with that, but it's what the wife wants to do. This payment includes tax which is high in my area (8.5%) I think!

Also, just curious if 'AcuraWatch Plus' has qualified anyone for an insurance discount? I have state farm...

Can someone please explain what it means that "there is a lease cash of $1750 on Acura MDX". What do I have to tell the dealer. The dealer I went to said there is $500 dealer cash. He does not understand what lease cash is? I found a $1750 edmunds coupon code for Acura TLX or ILX, is that the lease cash, How can I get one..please help

The lease cash is an Acura-to-dealer incentive. They likely won't acknowledge it.

Is that $750 the Acura lease cash? According to a post further up, it should be $2500 for and Advanced model. With $750 down, the numbers look close to my calcs. I get $564.80. However, I'm not applying interest to the Processing and Title that's being rolled into the lease. Also, it looks like your state is taxing you on the sell price of the entire vehicle. That stinks but it is what it is.

Overall I think its a solid deal.

I told them about the lease cash, and they said it is in the discount off of MSRP - slimy people!

In the end if it is a solid deal, then it's a solid deal. The tax thing is a state scam, but that is not the dealer's fault.
