    Hi - Can anyone give me an idea of how much lower I can get on this deal? (Haven't pushed too hard yet)

    2016 MDX w/ tech package
    MSRP = $48,210
    Sale Price = $45,000
    Location = S. Florida
    $650 down payment
    36 month lease
    15,ooo miles
    Total lease payments are $650/month

    (I believe the salesman said it was a 0.00141 MF)

    *miraculously the salesman gave me $20 off the monthly payment after I showed some dissatisfaction almost 30 seconds after giving me the initial quote of $670/month

    The MF of .00141 is correct, so the only way to sweeten this deal is to negotiate a lower sale price. Read back through the last page or two of this discussion to see what others have been able to achieve.

    I get the same.. It's likely that the $595 acquisition fee is in the CAP cost.

    Looking to lease a MDX Base 2016 10/36 in FL. Is the MF negotiable, I've gotten 0.00202, but I see 0.00141 a lot in this thread. This the MF change every month?

    The dealer can mark up the MF for extra profit. Also a higher MF is used if less than top tier credit exists.

    It's rare for an Acura or Honda dealer to mark-up the money factor. Do you have top tier credit?

    Just want a quick check on my numbers and any additional thoughts before I decide. I live in NYC but the dealer is in NJ. The financing is through a local credit union versus acura financial. Here's the details.

    2016 MDX w/ Tech NO Acura Watch
    MSRP 50,201
    Sales Price 45,733
    Residual 68% / $34,142
    MF 0.00145
    36 Month
    10k Miles
    Acq fee $1145 (almost double the Acura $595!)
    Doc fee $370
    DMV fee $350
    Tax on Acq & Doc fee $130
    1st payment $482.68
    Drive off cost $2477 (1st mo plus fees)

    Feel good about the sales price but the fees look kinda high. Thoughts?

    Acura Finance numbers are .00141 MF and 63% residual.

    Looks like they are running this through an independent bank.. I would be wary of that.

    The Acq fee (at almost twice acura finance charges) as well as the slightly higher money factor gave me pause, but the higher residual does reduce the monthly payment and since I don't intend on buying out the vehicle at the end of 3 yrs I thought I could live with it. That said is there anything else I am missing with this? Is there anything else away from what I mentioned that I should be wary of. Much thanks!

    When using a different (non-Acura) bank, you have to be wary of end of lease charges .. likely to be less forgiving than AFS, since they may not care if you lease another car through them.

    When you mention end of lease charges I assume you're talking about any damage, etc that might occur through usage of the vehicle. I have a 2012 that I'm turning in flat (no equity) due to roughly $1,000-1,500 in damage on all 4 corners (city driving/parking, etc) which sounds about right since I got an independent evaluation for the damage a few months ago. I will ask about that and any other "end of lease" charges that might occur.

    thanks.

    Hi, I am interested in leasing a 2016 Acura MDX SH-AWD base model. I live in central PA and have top-tier credit. I was wondering if anyone could provide the MF and residual for a 36 month lease with 12k/yr. Thanks!
  • gp3gp3 Posts: 41
    Hello- Is this deal possible?

    2016 MDX SH-AWD Technology Package w/ Acura Watch

    36 month
    15k/year
    first month + tag as "down payment" (590+$180 = $770)
    Location = Florida
    MSRP = $51410
    Invoice = 48,182
    Monthly Payment = $590

    The edmunds calculator is telling me the sales price would need to be around $45,500. Is that even accurate? Anyone ever heard of a dealer going $2700 under invoice?

    Thanks!

    Hard to imagine a dealer going that low on the selling price on a relatively brand new model.

    But, if you don't ask, you don't get.

    Here is the deal I've received for a car in KS (8.925%):
    AWD+Tech MSRP: 51960
    Sale Price: 47,500

    704/month for a 15k/36mo term. Edmunds calculator is giving me 635/month. Can you verify the monthly payment?

    Did the July Money Factor go down now for July? Is it .00110 for AWD Advance ? What is the Residual for 36/15K?

    And is there still the no down payment option that tweaks the MF? I read on previous pages last month it went from .00141 to .00131... does it decrease .0001 this month too?

    Well I was unable to close my deal end of June because I was out of state. So back to the drawing board. With July's new program, what's the money factor for the folowing. MDX AWD w/ Tech NO acura watch for a 36 month 10k lease?

    As always, much thanks!

    Yes, .00100 on the "$0 due at signing" lease

    WOW, I am pleasantly surprised to see this... so not only did the MF improve, but the residual went UP 2% compared to last month? Page 5 has reference to a 57% residual for 15K miles on the Advance.

    So if sanity-checking the above and it is correct, what residual improvement is on 12K miles? I don't want to "scratch this itch" with the dealership and have my numbers wrong. I got the "we want to buy your 2010 MDX Adv... would you like to sell?" phonecall this week from my dealership. :)

    I guess I'm confused. The residual on the 36/12,000 MDX Advanced is 59% or is it higher?

    Well I was unable to close my deal end of June because I was out of state. So back to the drawing board. With July's new program, what's the money factor for the folowing. MDX AWD w/ Tech NO acura watch for a 36 month 10k lease? As always, much thanks!

    Did the July Money Factor go down now for July? Is it .00110 for AWD Advance ? What is the Residual for 36/15K? And is there still the no down payment option that tweaks the MF? I read on previous pages last month it went from .00141 to .00131... does it decrease .0001 this month too?

    Add 2% to the residual to go from 15k to 12k

    Hi,
    What is MF and Residual for 2016 Acura MDX AWD Tech+Ent ?
    36 months lease/12K/$3K down
    I am getting quote of $539 in NJ.

    .00110 and 61%.

    What is the MSRP and selling price? How does the $3K break down?

    Without knowing that, we can only guess how good your quote is.
