Can't comment on the lease price without knowing the selling price and tax rate, at the very least.. Can't really tell you what price to ask for, because we don't know what price they used to calculate the lease, now.

I am looking at a 2015 lexus is 250 f sport with nav, they quoted me 649 a month with 27 month 10k a year miles with no money down. The msrp is 43300. I am in texas. Does this sound high? there is no other info they gave me.

It sounds high to me... Texas charges sales tax on the full selling price, even on a lease.. That makes short term leases expensive, as the tax is amortized over fewer payments..

Using your numbers, I get the same base payment the dealer does - $406.56.

However, adding 9% tax to that number results in a payment of $443.15; not sure why the dealer's quote is lower than that.

The base MF is being used, so if you're comfortable with the selling price, there isn't anything to make the deal better.

I decided to go with a ultra white Fsport with nav. Can you tell me if it was the best deal that I could have gotten? I got these numbers with a tier 1 not tier 1+ approval. the $1,000 rebate is collage grad rebate.

The $1052 cap cost reduction is $39/mo, so your true payment is $407/mo. Still agood price for a >$40K car.

Do you think I had more wiggle room? As I mentioned before I only got tier 1 not tier 1+. How much less would my payments be with tier 1+? overal I am happy with the car and the deal. Just wanted to know if I made out well.

I think you did fine...no reason to waste time worrying about how much you would have saved. You'll enjoy driving the car long after the financial issues have faded from memory.

my dealer had a net price of 45k and some change. Told me I insulted them when I wanted that sales price to be 42k. 

They came up with $456/month after tax with 3k put down total. Residual I believe was 31k and some change. I forgot to take the sheet, sorry. And MF was maybe .00105 or .0015. Was this a good deal, cause I walked away thinking I should be getting it for at least 43K and 420-430/month

Depends on the breakdown of the $3K up front .. every $1K of cap cost reduction reduces your monthly payment by about $28.

Base MF is .00105.

Not sure if the transaction price is gonna work ... keep working at it, and, if possible, get another Lexus dealer involved. Competition is good for you.

I don't want to put any money down. They told me my payment was going to be $550 for a 4 year lease no money out of pocket. Is this a good deal? This will be my first lease. I live in Miami. Please guys help. I need a car!!

I would politely but firmly explain to the dealer that I won't sign a deal with an inflated MF.

Residual is fixed by the bank and cannot be modified by the dealer.

I want to be certain I have my facts straight before I start asking the dealer for something unreasonable.

What is the most advantageous in terms of monthly payment? Also, how much does a single MSD decrease the MF by? How many can I do? Any incentives on these right now? I was thinking of asking for 10% off, is that a little too ambitious?

The numbers we have show the 24/12 residual on the 2015 IS250 as 73%. These numbers are set to expire on 3/31/15. You sure they aren't quoting you a 27 month term?

Yes, 8 MSDs would lower the MF to the minimum of .00001

Each MSD reduces the MF by .00008, I believe.

10% off sticker may be too much - use the pricing tools at the top of the page (make / model / year) to help establish a target.
