    Hello there:

    Quick update

    I got lease quote from a Ohio dealer for XLT with 202A package and Nvigation, here is the quote:

    msrp: $41195
    Cap cost: $35921
    Tax rate: 6.5%
    36 months 10,500 miles a year. $418 per month include tax. They told me the RV is 58% and lease rebate go up to $750 base off the region I live.

    Let me know if this number makes sense.

    MF is not impacted by the number of miles; only the residual.

    12K is 1% lower than 10.5K, and 15K is 3% lower than 10.5K

    48 month MF is 2.75% on the Explorer. $250 lease cash.

    No 60 month lease programs exist for Ford.

    If you're looking to lease that long, why not just buy?

    With your numbers, and assuming the .25% MF, I get $340/mo + tax. I would check the net cap cost - probably higher than the number you got. If so, find out what's been added.

    Hi! We are looking at a 2016 Explorer Platinum with a MSRP of $54,450. We are hoping to get it for ~$50,000. What sort of residuals, MF, and incentives are available for this model right now on a 36/mo lease with 12k/mi per year? We would like to do $0 or $1000 down and are in CA. Where would that put our monthly payment? Appreciate any help!

    If the CAP cost is $51,000 (to account for acq.fees, etc), the payment would be $609/mo.+tax, with 1st payment and any excess fees due at signing.

    Hi, I am looking to lease a 2016 Explorer XLT through X-Plan Red Carpet Lease. I am wondering if you can help me with the following questions:

    1. 36/12 APR(MF) and RV%
    2. 39/12 APR(MF) and RV%
    3. X-Plan acquisition fee?
    4. Georgia Title and Tag fees? $18 Electronic title transfer and $20 Registration
    5. Other fees I would expect to see within Adjusted Cap cost in addition to the above and the $100 Doc fee?
    6. Available incentives for lease?

    Don't have the acquisition fee info, or info on Georgia fees.
    Georgia dealers tend to charge exorbitant dealer/doc fees, though I don't know if that's allowed on X-Plan.

    Georgia does levy tax on the full selling price of the vehicle, even on a lease, so that will be substantial.

    I was told that Ford charges an 11% excise tax on all leases to cover personal property and use taxes, can you verify this? i.e. would this tax be applied to my Virginia personal property taxes?

    I don't have any knowledge of tax implications on leases in VA, other than the normal sales tax levied. You might want to check the department of revenue website, and perhaps reach out to a dealer from another brand to see if the stories align.

    If there are personal property taxes, they are often the responsibility of the leasee ... I know it is for me, here in Colorado.
