No, Ford uses APR instead of a decimal MF. Divide the APR by 2400 to get the decimal equivalent.

For the .50% APR on the 39 month term, that equates to .00021

They refuse to disclose any details. They just said the payment is $450 a month. I asked at what sale price, at first they said "leases are all based off of MSRP, you don't negotiate a sale price on a lease", which I know isn't true. Then I asked the manager, as I was walking out, what is the sale price & he just said "it's really low under $40K" which based on a $450 payment I find hard to believe.

I would find another dealer that will give you details.

It's possible they aren't selling you the vehicle for $40K.

There are incentives for purchase that aren't available for leasing, so the price will be different.

If you're consistently getting told your offers are too low, then it may be time to bump your offer.

Limited - 54% (assuming AWD)

.25% MF and $250 lease cash

Ford numbers are regional, but they seem to be pretty consistent for the Explorer.

Got a quote today for leasing a 2016 Explorer. They said $625/month for an XLT. This is with $625 down. $725 for the Limited with $800 down. These are 36/15 leases. These monthly payments seem crazy high to me. What monthly payment should I expect to get in Texas right now for an XLT with 202A or a Limited?
