That gets me to about $4500 ... so, $400 unaccounted for.

And, we don't recommend the cap reduction - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled. I'm sure they included it to make the payment a nice attractive number. Without it, the payment would go up about $41/mo.

I get $392/mo with those numbers ... I wouldn't quibble over $250 ($7 x 36 months).

-2016 BMW 340i xDrive
-MSRP 58,625
-Neg price 52,763
-36/12k

Could you kindly provide me with the MF, RV, and a total monthly out the door price as I would see at the dealer? (including bank fees, doc fee, tax, and any other fees I may pay that can be included into my monthly?)

Everything but the DMV costs and (I think) the bank fee, but remember those costs are then subject to interest.

You can definitely roll in the acquisition fee. It's taxable, either way.

DMV fees might become taxable, if you roll them in.

If the tax amount is added to the lease, I get $576 per month. Pretty close to your quote.

First of all, there isn't much tech, mainly just a new engine (which in fact may be problematic given that it's new). Second, there are no 2017 328's, they are called 330's. But I agree, the resids on 2017 are going to be much worse., and with the same MF will cost more in a lease. If you are going to purchase, the MSRP has only increased by about $100, but it is a matter of how much off MSRP dealers will haggle with a 2017 (not much) vs a 2016 ( a lot).

I qualify for the new grad discount. Payment calculator says $439 a month if the sale price is $38k and 9% sales tax in Los Angeles.

Is this correct or too high? Is it possible to get it for under $400 a month?

Would need to know the adjusted cap cost, since the $1200 at signing isn't enough to cover all the up front costs (bank fee, first payment, DMV costs, etc.)

Shaving $39/mo off the lease would require about $1400 more off the selling price ...

We've not seen any discounts that large. Generally anything over 7% is pretty good for BMW.

$458/mo. is correct for those numbers.
There must be something else on the car. Accessories don't add to the MSRP, unless they are factory or port-installed.
It's true, NYS dealers cannot do MSDs
If it's me, I roll in the $1470 tax and $925 acquisition fee, which takes the payment to $528/mo, but reduces your upfront to $898.
The $82 is likely tax on the acquisition fee (but, maybe something else)
