As long as there is stock available.

However, at some point BMW will stop supporting the leases, which will then make them expensive.

No idea when that support will end, however. Current program runs through October.

Ouch - Texas is only one of a few states that taxes the entire selling price, even for a lease.

I'd find out what the up front money covers - might include the sales tax amount, first payment, dealer fee and bank fee. But, get it broken out.

I am being quoted the following on a demo with 10k miles on it:

Original sticker price: $66,695
MSRP: $56,088 (Wouldn't this actually be "Asking Price" since MSRP is on new cars?)
Sale price $55,788
M/F .00156
Residual @ 10k miles per year ($39,633)
36 months @ $552 plus tax

This doesn't add up to me. My math says:
Sale price - residual = 16155 x 4.056 (MF) = 736.66
Total lease amount = 16,891 /36 months = 469/month + tax

My math puts residual value at 59% of Original Sticker Price. Would that be accurate for this car at the end of this lease? It would effectively have 3 years 8 months in service and 40k miles?

.00136 and 63% for 36/10 on a new unit. $1500 option allowance. Your MF is marked up for extra profit.

However, the residual is adjusted .25 per mile for the demo status - $2500 total.

Leaving the adjusted residual out the math, I get $516/mo before tax with those prices.

If I subtract the $2500 from the residual, the payment goes to $582/mo before tax.

Residual values for a lease rarely match the true depreciated value - the numbers are set to move inventory.

Numbers are .00134 and 60% for all trims, however. $1500 option allowance.

Thanks Michaell! I am looking at a 2016 BMW 428i w/SULEV Gran Coupe in TX. MSRP is $51,395 and the dealer's sale price is $46,488. Do you think there is any wiggle room to bring that down any lower? I'm sure they are already figuring in the $1500 option allowance. New to BMW so not sure what the discount is, especially with the 1 year old models.

Generally, 7% off sticker before incentives is a good price for a BMW. You might be able to get more of a discount, given that it's a model year old.
