However, MD is one of a handful of states that applies sales tax to the entire selling price - are you adding this in to the selling price? What is the tax rate? What about the other fees and costs?

I would get the adjusted cap cost from the dealer, and make sure you fully understand how they got to that number.

Yes, I added 6% MD tax to sales price. Other fee is $995. I got the your monthly amount without tax and fee. if I add two, mine is 779. i'll ask how they come up such number.. Thanks!!

Find out what the $995 is for; the acquisition fee for BMW is $925 and cannot be modified by the dealer.

Be advised that GA applies sales tax (ad valorem) to the entire selling price of the car. FL only taxes the calculated monthly payment.

Can someone direct me to a good excel or numbers calculator. Dealer is telling me I have all information and is using .00138 MF and 59% residual in a 36/15k 435igc. Dealer is offering 435i gran coupe with the following stats

MSRP 59,975
Sales price 54,475
3 year 36k miles - 59% residual
Claims the MF is .00138
6.5% sales tax
Sign and drive

$2,235.50 (including $925 acquisition fee) in fees plus first month's payment due at signing

So when I run two different spreadsheets in Numbers I get $789.36/month, dealer gets $850

First round of negotiations had me $1,500 higher in the purchase price (55,975) and they had a monthly payment of $900 and I get $840.

The difference in both calculations is in the interest component. We come up with the same lease depreciation and sales tax (other than sales tax on the interest payment) the issues is the interest payment (in Florida).

Thoughts on what the lease payment should be?

When I have negotiated, they barely budge from MSRP and then try to sneak that amount back into the figures. Is there a secret code to getting a rock bottom deal? LOL!! If so, I need to know! Where and when are the best incentives available? The most recent offer I have on a 2016 428i 2-door, 36/12 is a lease pmt of $847/mo that includes $1000 down pmt. MSRP is 54000 with cap cost of $52,500. This sounds entirely too high to me.  Please help if you can. Thanks!

Those are the correct mileage adjustments.

Selling price looks good. The MF markup only adds $8/mo.
If the $2100 drive-off items look legit, it's a fair deal. (assuming your tax rate makes up the other $47/mo.)

I had an offer for a 435i with 60k msrp for 610 a month with drive off of 1100 in CA, exec demo with 10k miles on it

Also the residual is %61 and not 59% on 12k miles your dealer cannot change that.
