Looking to possibly get a 2016 5-series for lease in Southern California (LA area). What is the sweet spot? I'm looking at 36mo/15k. Could I get MF and Residual on this for December, and is it same throughout for all 5 series models? Also, is it beneficial to look for these demo/executive deals? Some people have mentioned you can get just as good deals on new ones, especially the 2016 5 series? Any Gotchas? Lastly, if anyone could recommend a great Socal BMW dealer, that'd be great. I know it's a lot of questions, but thanks in advance.

.00134 and 60% for all 5-series.
Great discounts on demo models.
No recommendation on dealers, though my dad knew Steve Thomas, who owns the dealer in Camarillo.
Anyone aware if corporate rates/discounts are eligible to be applied for demo vehicles?
Don't have the answer for that.
Thanks. Not sure if anyone else is having a hard time negotiating prices out there. I would have thought 2016's would be allow for lot of margin for sales. Dealers are offsetting prices with significant MF increases. I'm no rookie but not as easy out there this year.

My guess is that inventory is shrinking, which puts the advantage back onto the dealers. Best time for a 5-series deal may have been a month ago.
What sort of discount should I be looking for (percentage wise) on a 5 series executive demo lease? Pacific BMW has their credits already posted but I wasn't sure if I would be able to negotiate down any lower than what their "Market Price" is.

This would be my first time leasing so any help would be greatly appreciated. I have been doing some research to try to familiarize myself with some of the terms.
I am interested in leasing either a 2016 528i xDrive or 2016 535i xDrive. I am not sure what kind of incentives/ rebates there are available on these trims. I have talked to our local BMW dealership and here is what I'm being offered:
2016 BMW 528i xDrive Limited Edition MSRP: $56,045 Discount: $3805 Residual: 63% on 10K/36 MF: .00139 or .00169, don't remember which one it was Monthly Payment: $599 w/nothing down. I believe I was to pay around $1800 which I'm guessing includes first months payment, acquisition fee etc.
What do you think about this deal? What kind of rebates/ incentives are available on 2016 5 Series xdrive trims? Is the residual based off on MSRP even if you are getting discounts or Cap cost?
I have looked at some leases out of california which seem much better so would appreciate your help.

The base MF is .00134. Dealers will try to mark up that number for extra profit. You want the base rate. Acquisition fee is 925, so $1800 upfront looks about right, depending on your state. With the base rate, $587/mo.+tax, with your MSRP and selling price, and the base MF.
No customer rebates/incentives on this model, though that is a really high residual for a 2016. (which is good) Residual is always based off MSRP.
Any word on MF and residuals for January please? Looking for 10k/24, 12k/24, 10k/36, and 12k/36, and any option credits or incentives they might have added this month.

.00134 MF and 68%/62% residual for 12K/yr Add 1% for 10K/yr.
It seems that January residuals have been reduced, but BMW is offering $5000 lease option allowance on 2016 5 series. Can this lease credit be applied to demo/cpo-elite lease too? Thanks.

Hi, please let me know if this offer looks reasonable as i was expecting lower MF.
2016 535i MSRP: 65320 Sale price: 55980 residual: 58% for 36/10k MF: 0.00176 With state tax of 3500, the monthly payment with 2500 down is $762.
Thanks in advance!
Base MF is .00134 this month, so that is marked up.
Also, there is $5000 lease cash, so you're getting just under 7% off sticker. Generally, that's pretty good, but there may be more to give there.
What state is this, and what is the breakdown of the additional $2500 due at signing?
Thank you for the info on base MF, I'm in Texas, charging 6.25% tax. I'm told the sale price is including the lease cash and things like phantom and permaplate. $2500 I mentioned is downpayment, so dealer quote for due at signing is $2500 and they folded in depreciation+finance charge+acq fee+other fees(500) all into the monthly payment. I'm planning on paying all fees and tax upfront with $0 down, so it will look more like $5000 due at signing. Is this unreasonable to do?

With tax, that's $6000 upfront.
Amortizing that amount over the life of the lease, makes the cost around $900/mo.

*** UPDATE Dealer keeps insisting $55980 is including $5000 option allowance. Also, my question on if I can get 0.00134 MF has been ignored. It doesn't seem to be a good deal after all, what do you think?
Could you also confirm the below number if I can somehow get MF down to 0.00134 and pay for MSD (0.00085)? $609 monthly payment with $9153 drive off that include: - TX tax : $3499 - Doc fees: $495 - MSD: $4550 - First mo pay: $609
I don't have a feel for if this much drive off price is reasonable (although it's got MSD) with this monthly payment. Thanks again.

Your drive off is okay, though I would go ahead and roll that tax into the payment. Did they say what money factor they are using, after the MSD discount?
2016 528xi. MSRP 56,045. Paying max MSD. Quoted MF = .00092 which I know is higher. Residual is confirmed at 57%. Selling price is 47,050. I'm in NJ and getting a quote of 531 per month. My calculations show it should be around $500 per month?? Which is correct?

I'm new to this "executive demo lease" thing. How do MF and residuals factor into these compared to a "new lease"?
To add, prices on the internet are just advertisements.
