2016 528xi. MSRP 56,045. Paying max MSD. Quoted MF = .00092 which I know is higher. Residual is confirmed at 57%. Selling price is 47,050. I'm in NJ and getting a quote of 531 per month. My calculations show it should be around $500 per month?? Which is correct?
Seems weird that they would mark up the rate by .00007. Makes you wonder if they think you have to make an initial security deposit. I'd ask them about that.
$492/mo. using .00092 MF
Ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and verify the money factor.
What is the best/most complete calculator to use to estimate payments? I tried using several different ones (Edmonds Tools/Bankrate/Bimmerpost) and all have shown me different numbers compared to what the dealer is showing me.
Lease Option: 36 months/10k miles MF: 0.00154 (they brought it down from 0.00174, even though it's 0.00134 now and wont budge) Cash Due: $2500 Monthly Payment: $938
Does this seem fair/a good deal?? I didn't see an Acquisition fee quoted?

I don't trust any on-line calculator - I built my own. You can, too:
The numbers shown are not right - WA taxes the monthly payment on a lease, so the $7000 is irrelevant.
Ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost is, and how they got to that number from the selling price.
Next, ask them what the $2500 up front covers. You only want to pay the first payment and DMV costs at that point - roll everything else, including the $925 acquisition fee, into the lease payment.
Then, we'll have some numbers to work with.
Dealers are starting to wise up on the MF - you can get either the base MF or a big discount from sticker, but not often both.
Hi I'm looking to lease a loaded 2016 528i xDrive. I saw your Jan 12 post for a 3 year, 10k lease with a $5,000 option discount. Can you tell me what the MF, residual and expected dealer discounting would be for a 4 year, 10k lease is now? And would the $5,000 option discount still apply? I actually only put on between 6k and 7.5k miles per year. Are lower mileage leases available for this vehicle for a 3 year and 4 year term? Thanks.

48 month terms are not competitive for BMW ... best to stick with 36 months.
No mileage allowance lower than 10K for the 5-series.
So far as discounting goes, you're probably best reading the last page or two of this thread and see what others have negotiated.
Thanks, MSRP:62650 Net Cap Cost: 46000 Adjusted Residual:35374 36/12 , 408/pm. Should i bring aboutt option allowance now Or Did they already include it in above selling price?

I would assume that $16K off sticker absolutely includes the option allowance.
BMW offering $5K credit for leasing 2016 535d (which I like). Never leased before. 36/10k lease. $5k due at signing. Tax, title, license, registration and dealer fees are additional fees due at signing. Are they basically waiving the signing fees and monthly cost will be the $519/mo. they are advertising, or can I negotiate the price down from the $58k on which they are basing lease? Any help very much appreciated.

What is the MSRP?
Is it $5000 due at signing? Or, $5000 plus tax, title, license, fees, etc?
.00134 MF and 58% residual for 36/10 $5000 option credit.
You should be able to negotiate at least 7% off + the $5000. That would take you down to $48,940. Add the $925 acquisition fee, and your CAP cost is $49,865.
That's $563/mo, with 1st payment, tax, title, registration due at signing. (not $5000 + those items, just 1st payment + those items). There is no reason to put a big block of cash upfront.
If you shop around and bargain hard, you might be able to do better than that. The new 2017 5-Series just hit the lot, and diesels are getting to be a hard sell, after the VW fiasco.
Thank you...With $5k in options credit expiring on Tuesday, 1/31, would it make sense that dealerships would want to get a deal done Monday or Tuesday and I should be able to negotiate a 535d significantly? kyfdx was kind enough to offer great advice, but I am wondering if there would be an advantage to going in low because of the '17's coming in and the incentive expiring. Thank you all so much!

Certainly can't hurt to try. No idea if the $5K will continue through February, either.
On a 2016 535d xDrive, MSRP $68,995 in IL, I was offerred $800/mo for 36/12k. Not thinking this is remotely a good deal...Please let me know what you think.

What is the selling price?
Do you live in Cook County? If so, the total lease tax burden is something like 17.5% (state + county).

No, I live in DuPage County. They indicated that their offer is a $1 deal for the dealership. Not sure about that...

Selling price is $59,400 after incentive.
With those prices, I get $690/mo before tax. $800/mo seems way too high.
Either: 1) they are marking up the MF, or 2) the adjusted cap cost is higher than the selling price
Ask them for those numbers and see what they say.
And, I wouldn't believe them that it's a $1 deal for the dealership.
I believe that I will be moving into a 2016 528i xDrive 10k/36 mth lease. I show the MF to be .00134 and the Residual to be 58%. The $5000 Option Incentive appears to still be alive for February. I believe that I can negotiate at least a 7% discount beyond the $5,000.

Yes.. all assumptions are correct.
I'd be more aggressive on price. Can't hurt to ask.
May be looking for the impossible here. Hoping to locate a 2016 528i xDrive with the following options: Imperial Blue Metallic (1st choice, but not written in stone), Cinnamon Brown Dakota Leather (again 1st choice), Dark Wood Trim (1st choice), Driver Assistance Package, DRIVER ASSISTANCE PLUS (a must), Lighting Package, Premium Package, Heated Fronts Seats, Multi-contour Seats, Harmon Kardon surround sound system.
Any thoughts on how to locate one? I have run out of google searches!
Found a 2016 535i xDrive with an MSRP of $68,895. Looking at a 10k/36 mth lease. Haven't spoken with them yet. I'd rather have a 528i xDrive, but this 535 has most of the options that I am looking for. Beyond the corporate $5k discount, is an additional $8k being too piggy?
My present dealer has a 535 with a MSRP of $64,795. They are offering an additional $5k off, beyond the corporate $5k. Unfortunately it does not have the options I desire.
I ENDED UP CHOOSING THE 12K OPTION FOR A MONTHLY PAYMENT OF $398.66 MY GOAL: TO LEASE A 5 SERIES WITH A MONTHLY PAYMENT UNDER $400 WITH ZERO DOWN BY NOT CHOOSING THE 15K OPTION I AVOIDED PAYING $3,150 MSD INSTEAD
THE MONTHLY PAYMENT REPRESENTED 0.71% OF THE MSRP AND MET MY REQUIREMENT TO BE BELOW 0.75% OF THE MSRP
TOTAL DRIVE OFF: $3,611.66 [$398.66 FIRST MONTH + $2,800 MSD + $413 DMV FEES]
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK KYFDX AND MICHAELL TAKING THE TIME TO POST MF'S AND RV'S ACROSS ALL MAKES AND MODELS. THIS HAS HELPED ME IMMENSELY CRUNCHING THE NUMBERS TOGETHER ON A SPREADSHEET TO DETERMINE WHICH VEHICLES OFFERED THE BEST LEASES FOR THE MONTH.
THE NICE THING ABOUT THIS DEAL IS I SPENT LESS THAN 15 MINUTES TALKING TO THE INTERNET MANAGER OVER THE PHONE AND ANOTHER HOUR SIGNING DOCUMENTATION
EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE VEHICLE AND CAN'T WAIT TO DRIVE THIS TO LAS VEGAS
WAITING FOR THE RIGHT OPPORTUNITY THIS YEAR TO HOPEFULLY SCORE A GREAT DEAL LIKE THIS ON A MERCEDES OR BMW SUV
