No they did not disclose either adjusted CAP cost or MF. Is adjusted CAP cost the same as "net CAP cost"? (Gross minus cap cost reduction)?

Generally, adjusted = net, yes.

Thanks for the quick reply. For a 2016 535i do you know the residual %? Is the MF negotiable? Dealer just said they used 0.00174, but I see people online paying base. Thanks.

You can't negotiate below the base MF of .00140, this month. But, you can let the dealer know that you won't sign a deal with an inflated MF. They know the base rate, too.

So I finally went ahead and signed my lease and drove home in my new car. I just wanted to double check and make sure that I got an honest quote. Also, opinion wise, I was wondering if this was a good monthly payment for the kind of car it is-meaning, aside from just hoping the numbers add up, if that makes sense. Or if it could have been even lower-I know it's too late now, but you know

Car: 2016 528xi with 12,500 miles (demo)

Terms: 24 months, 12,000 miles per year

MSRP: $55,495

Gross Capitalized Cost: $40,657

Adjusted Capitalized Cost: $39,985

MF used: .00154 (Tier 2 approval)

Drive off: $3,500 ($670 for cap reduction, $450 first payment, $175 registration fees, $806 sales tax, $925 Ace fee, Supp Title Fee $399, sales tax on Cap Reduction $73).

Monthly Payment: $450

This is in New Jersey.
