I am looking at a CPO lease for 2016 528i with 6300miles. I know the maintenance plan is not the same. The CPO maintenance doesn't cover brake pads, rotors etc. Is it still a good deal to lease it?
The next question is how is the MF & Residual decided on these CPO lease deals?
Given that it is 2016 build, can i expect buildout cash and any other allowances?

I do not think that CPO vehicles are eligible for any incentives.
We don't have the specific release numbers, but I believe the money factor is the same as new vehicles – .00137
What are the BMWFS loyalty allowance for a new 2016 528i? Is it $1000 as noted in link? I lease via BMWFS currently and looking to get a new one as my lease is nearing its end.

Hi, What is the MF and Residual for a 2016 528xi and 535 xi for a 12k/yr lease in NJ?
Also does anybody have an idea when 2017s will hit the dealer lots? I read that 5 series is being fully redesigned in 2017. Is it worth waiting for it. My current 2014 528xi lease will be up in Oct this year. As much as I love my car, i don't want to get the exact same one again when the new one is right around the corner.
One more silly question - can somebody explain how does loyalty rebate work. lets say MSRP of the car is 60k and I negotiate a selling price of $55k. Do I plug the selling price as $54k in the lease calculator to get my monthly payment so that my net cap. cost is reduced by $1000.
Or is it handled differently in the monthly payment calculations.

.00137 and 66% for both engines.
I don't know anything about the 2017 5-series, nor when they will be available. Check reputable BMW-centric websites; they might have information as well.

Wow!!! that sounds like a really high residual. when I leased my current 2014 528xi - residual was 61% and i thought that was sky high compared to 54% for Audi A6 lease.
66% hard to believe but good for us I guess. Thanks for the info.
I was recently offered a lease on a 2016 BMW 535i xDrive. The vehicle is Mineral White Metallic with Mocha Nappa Leather. The vehicle is equipped with the Cold Weather Package, Luxury Line and Premium Package. It comes with a Rear View Camera and Park Distance Control.
I will be paying $650 a month. 3 year lease with 12K miles per year. The MSRP $65,295.00. The agreed upon value of vehicle is $59,180.99 (inclusive of $2,065.88 in sales/use tax). I am based out of NY. Is this a good deal?

Are you sure the $59,180 includes the sales tax? 66% residual and .00137 MF (base) gives me $587/mo. Marking up the MF the maximum to .00177 gives me $628/mo.

Yes it is inclusive of the sales tax. What do you mean by "marking up the MF the maximum to .00177"? Sorry I am new to leasing.

The base BMW money factor is .00137; the dealer is adding to it for extra profit.
Advice please. I called BMW Financial and they can extend my lease on the 2013 528i, ends Aug 28, for two months without any hassle, just call a day or two before lease ends. I put my entire trade in amount into cap reduction on this lease, thereby lowering my lease payment by about $208 per mo. They tell me I can just continue paying my current payment ($440). Am I right in figuring that I should definitely do this in that I "paid down" the lease payment by dividing the 7500/36=208 and now I would actually get that 208 per month reduction for no cost on these last couple of months. Why pass that up? BUT....Is it likely that I will more than eat up the $416 in savings when BMW lowers the residual on the new car from this months .67? Or will even that diff be offset by expected further discount on 2016's as we get into 2017 order time?
2nd...Is the MSD strategy a good one? Can you tell me current MF reduction on paying whatever the maximum number of MSD's allowed?
Finally, any way to help push the dealer into not adding that markup to the BMW Financial MF? I really had to push the last time to make that happen. Texas based, excellent credit so the MSD is just to lower the costs.

You are correct about the extension being a good deal. But, you are also correct that you might give it all back, if they adjust the residuals down. The current program runs through August 31st.
MSDs are a good deal. .00007 reduction X 7 SDs = .00049 total MF reduction.
Some dealers won't budge on the marked up money factor. But, it's no different than any other part of the negotiation. Don't sign until you get what you want.
Can you help me with the MF and residual on a 2016 535i for 36 months/15k miles? Also, what type of discount of msrp should I expect to get if I drive a good bargain?

We don't track selling prices; read back through the last page or two of this thread to see what others have negotiated.
You can also use the "make / model / year" pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools. Your goal is to beat the TMV price, which is an average.

MF: 0.00147 (they won't go lower than this)
$4900 MSD
Acquisition fee $925
Upfront Taxes: $2,043.53 (NY)
Doc/DMV fee: $629

So, all they did was make you pay the taxes upfront, and took that out of the payment? Doesn't seem like much of a difference.

2016 535i
msrp - $60,645
Total Cap Cost - $62,386.52
64 % Residual
.00177 Money Factor
total cash due - $1,179.20
35 payments - $833.95
Their math is correct, but the MF is costing you about $40/mo.
What state is this that the total cap is higher than the MSRP?
Doesn't look like you're getting much of a discount from sticker.
