Assuming the selling price is the cap cost, I get $474/mo with tax, so a lot closer to your number than theirs.

Get them to confirm the "adjusted" cap cost - and, make sure you understand how they bridge to that number from the selling price.

Spoke to them again. They explain the discrepancy by saying that my numbers don't include first month payment, while their's do. Basically I am using 1500 down, and they are using part of that 1500 as first month down, so the effective down in their calculation is a little over 1000. Does this make sense to you? Thx

If you add up the fees you've listed, it's $1374. That doesn't include the NJ sales tax or the first payment, so the balance is being added to your selling price - that number becomes your adjusted cap cost.

Yesterday I tried to turn in my 2014 C250 lease two months early and lease a 2016 C300. My dealer had been sending me offers the last couple months with lots of incentives (dealer cash, waiving remaining payments, etc). Their offer to me in person on a well-equipped C300W RWD was:
36 mo/7500 miles
MSRP $47,190
Selling Price $37,726
Monthly pre-tax $348
Total drive-off $1,936

After doing the math, I saw the payment should be $303/mo. I'm assuming they were using an inflated MF. It didn't sound like they wanted to budge past their original offer so I left. I don't think it was a bad deal but more than I wanted to spend (they didn't have any base models left). Two years ago, my C250 was 24mo/7500 $1,800 drive-off and $277/mo pre-tax. That one was MSRP 40k and 34k selling price.

I'm wondering if I were a new customer without remaining payments and a turn-in fee that they were "waiving" then perhaps my offer would have been lower.

Thanks Michaell. Deal fell thru since the car they had is stock turned out to have different options to what I was quoted....so no deal. Will look next month. Would you happen to know when Oct rates would come out for leases? Dealer told me residuals would be decreasing on 2016...but I am not sure

If the residuals change for October, I doubt they would go up this late in the year.

October numbers should be available next week.

I'm interested in the 2016 C350e. Not seeing any real info on availability. Few dealers in CA have them, noone else.  Looking to lease at 10k miles per year. Any info on residuals (24/30/36), MF, etc? Thanks!

Since my 2017 C43 is held up by Customs at the VPC (thank you VW - happening to all new models), I'm hoping that the residual and MF have been released for October. I'm still looking at 12,000/36 months. BTW - did take your advice a week ago - Dealer did not have this info - but with October numbers out this week - I'm hoping you can provide. Thanks

Are the CVP lease rates standardized the same way (set by MBFS)? Is there any way to know the dealer isn't inflating the MF and dropping the residual on me? Should I assume the MF is going to be higher and the residual is going to be lower on a CVP? One dealer mentioned a residual of 58%, but I have no idea what to expect for MF. Thanks again.
