Hello, I'll like to know the MF and residual for a C300 sedan RWD sport package for 36 months with 10k miles per year. I'm in Orlando FL Thanks in advance.

I recently pulled the trigger on a 2016 C300 RWD Sport Sedan. What do you guys think of the deal?
MSRP: $53485 Selling Price: $44225 (17.31% discount including $2300 Fleet rebate) Acquisition Fee: $795 Down Payment: $0 Drive Off: $0 (Rolled every penny into cap cost) Adjusted Cap Cost: $45300 Lease Term: 3yr/12k (61 % residual and .00108 MF with auto pay)
Monthly: $499.54 including 8.75% CA tax
I also purchased the 3yr pre paid maintenance ($975) which was added to the MSRP and then residualized so monthly payment with maintenance is $515.
I have been working on this deal for a few days and was curious if we have a good deal or could do a little better. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
MY16 C450 $ 63,420 MSRP 10% discount off the MSRP + another $2,000 for my fleet incentive.
12/36 lease program .00025 MF ( Thats with MSD and Autopay) 56% residual
We were quoted a lease price of $581/month, but we would love to try and get it down to $550.

What are the adjusted cap costs for each car, once the negative equity and fees are rolled into the cap cost?

Using your numbers, I get $474/mo with tax (before the pre-paid maintenance is added).
There is about $1000 difference somewhere .. confirm the adjusted cap cost with the dealer - might they have slipped something else into the deal?
Hello, Trying to decide on term of c450 lease. The monthly payment for 4 yr lease (10k) is $77 less than for the 3 yr lease. My concern is that with a 4 yr lease I will likely have to pay for 1 or poss. 2 sets of tires (the car comes with run-flats, which I understand have a shorter life span). The cost of the tires and possible brakes would offset any savings over the 4 yrs. Any thoughts?

Have you priced tires?
Yes, you should run the numbers for 3 years total cost of ownership vs. 4 years (maintenance, insurance, consumables - tires and brakes.
In general, 3 year leases are most popular for a reason ...

That $800 difference works out to about $22/mo .. $24 with tax.

.00096 and 59%. This is Before applying the discount for security deposits.
With your prices I get $634/mo per month. What MF is the dealer using? I suspect it may be marked up before applying the MSD.
Hi Michael - thx so much for all of this information! I'm working a deal with my local dealer on a executive loaner '16 C300. These guys are great, and have given me excellent service and deals in the past, however - I am just not sold on this offering. May I please ask your opinion, and maybe others can chime in as well? Here's the layout: 2016 C300W w/ Premium Pkg. / Rearview camera / 18inch spoked wheels / Blind Spot / Walnut trim. Pano Sunroof. Black 7,000 miles on it Lease term 36/10 MSRP 43,890 Selling price is 39,160 Residue is 27,211 at .00118 MF 3,000 down acq fee is 1,095 429 a month including tax
First - I think that down payment is way too high, and it seems from the other deals I've seen here, I could obtain a non-loaner for the same, unless I'm dreaming?

thanks so much!!!
Doesn't look that great. I would assume that the residual will be adjusted down from that number, to account for the mileage. The MF and residual are correct (except for the mileage reduction).
Is $3000 the total amount due at signing, or is it $3000 plus fees and 1st payment?
Loaners should be better deals than brand-new units, or why get one?
HI - thanks for the reply! agree - it should be a better deal. He changed it to $2K total amount due, and $398 including tax. $37,313 w/ 62% residual. When I try to build this car in true car, it tells me $43K is the best deal, which is weird because thats the retail. KBB states that a CPO in this class/features should be around 38K, but from what I am reading here on the forum, folks are getting new cars at that same discount. I offered $36K w/ $1500 down, 36/12, and they said no. Thanks for your advice - if you have any other suggestions or resources, please let me know.

You may be working with a stubborn dealer.
Find out what they're willing to do on a new model.
And, reach out to other dealers - the competition will do you good.
Hi - thanks, you're right. They have the monopoly in this area, but I have reached out to others, just waiting to see. Thing is - I just got back from test driving a new 2017 Audi A4, nicely equipped - quoted me $37K and the driving experience was 10x more fun than the C300, so I may have just changed my mind...
FYI - they came back w/ same terms but $1500 down, $400 per month (incl tax) and upped the mileage to 12K... they are working with me, and the salesperson is a great guy and so is the store, so thats worth something too - but, I still can't see this as a reasonable deal on a 7K car... thx!

I'd still like to know what they're willing to do on a new unit ... there had better be a substantial savings to account for the mileage.

With your numbers, I get $577/mo plus tax. What payment is the dealer quoting?
And, I'd ask for a complete breakdown of the up front money.
I went to a Mercedes Benz dealer in Houston, TX (August 2016) to shop around for a new lease. I currently have a BMW428i coupe and it is not due till December of this year so Mercedes stated they could add my remaining payments to this lease. I do not want to do this and would rather pay off the balance myself. Also, I do not want to put any money down. Even after letting them know of what I was looking for -__- they went ignored... these are the numbers the sales person provided me with:
2016 C300 Sedan MSRP: 38,950.00 Market Value: 52,685.00 Savings: 5,000.00 (dealer discounted $5,000 guessing since it is a 2016 model) Accesories: 2,320.00 (I currently have a 428i and my remaining paymets equal to this amount) Adj. Sales Price: 50,005.00 Tax: 3,070.82 Doc Fee: 150 Fees: 202.75 Net Sales Price: 53,428.57
This does not seem right so I left the dealer. He assured me that I would not find cheaper payment for the most prestigious car brand. So returning there is def out of the question. lol

Your MSRP cannot be right, given the rest of the numbers.
I think I'm confused in this piece. The MSRP is what I see on the window for that base model 2016 C300, it has a ton of upgrade (AMG wheels, premium leather and so on) that cranked up the price to the $52,685.00.

I live in Texas
The MSRP used for any lease calculation is the bottom number on the government-required window sticker. Including options and destination fee.
Hi Moderator, With my ordered 2017 Mercedes C43 AMG Coupe due at the VPC within the next week or two at most, hopefully the residual and MF values have finally been published with the new September numbers! (The C300 Coupe and C63 Coupe AMG numbers, I believe, have previously been published). Please let me know so that I can configure my costs and see if you agree. If not published, I'm curious as to what the dealership does for me to take delivery? Thanks very much

Could you please provide me with the August numbers for a C300 36k/10, Miami, FL.
Currently being offered
MSRP $45,675
Sale price $40,594.00

Other $6.50
Dealer fee $699.95

Thank you
That tax number isn't relevant for a lease. Florida taxes the monthly payment, not the full selling price.
Ask for the adjusted CAP cost on that deal.

MSRP: $53485
Selling Price: $44225 (17.31% discount including $2300 Fleet rebate)
Acquisition Fee: $795
Down Payment: $0
Drive Off: $0 (Rolled every penny into cap cost)
Adjusted Cap Cost: $45300
Lease Term: 3yr/12k (61 % residual and .00108 MF with auto pay)
Monthly: $499.54 including 8.75% CA tax
I also purchased the 3yr pre paid maintenance ($975) which was added to the MSRP and then residualized so monthly payment with maintenance is $515.
Using your MSRP and sale price, I get $628/mo with 9% tax added in.
FWIW, the payment on a 36 month lease is $640/mo
And, there are a number of up front costs associated with a lease that could be covered by the $3K. That is different than a down payment.

I've been quoted the following for a 2017 Mercedes c300 coupe rwd
36 months - 15,000 miles per year
Msrp $56,435
Adjusted cap cost $50,523.21
Residual $31,603.60 56%
Drive off $3,800
Monthly tax included $701.51
Money factor .00151
I ordered the car through the dealership and have been waiting a couple of months. It's due to arrive this weekend.
Thanks in advance!
What state and tax rate?
What does the $3800 cover?

MSRP $62710
Cap Cost $55000
Fleet Discount -$2300
Residual 59% on 36/10k
MF 0.00096 but 0.00084 with autopay
Lender fee $1095
$2332 due at signing (probably lender fee plus doc fees plus first month)
Anything wrong? Seems like lender fee is inflated.

2016 C300 Sedan
MSRP: 38,950.00
Market Value: 52,685.00
Savings: 5,000.00 (dealer discounted $5,000 guessing since it is a 2016 model)
Accesories: 2,320.00 (I currently have a 428i and my remaining paymets equal to this amount)
Adj. Sales Price: 50,005.00
Tax: 3,070.82
Doc Fee: 150
Fees: 202.75
Net Sales Price: 53,428.57
12K miles / 36 months
Term: 36 RES: 61.00 Cash Down: 3,000.00 Payment: 701.05
This does not seem right so I left the dealer. He assured me that I would not find cheaper payment for the most prestigious car brand. So returning there is def out of the question. lol

With my ordered 2017 Mercedes C43 AMG Coupe due at the VPC within the next week or two at most, hopefully the residual and MF values have finally been published with the new September numbers! (The C300 Coupe and C63 Coupe AMG numbers, I believe, have previously been published). Please let me know so that I can configure my costs and see if you agree. If not published, I'm curious as to what the dealership does for me to take delivery?
Thanks very much
C300 4Mattic, Sport package
MSRP $53000
Sell price $45600
36 months, 12k
Registered in NY
I want to pay just taxes and 1st month upfront.
Thank you for your help!
