Also willing to do max MSDs and autopay to lower the MF

Could you please give me a fair calculated number base on adjusted cap of $45,000 (including $2000 fees and $1275 pre-paid maintenance), NJ tax rate, 12k and 15k, 36 months. Only pay the first month and MSD upfront.

Not familiar with Mercedes MSD program, so can't tell if it's marked up, or not, but it looks likely.

Assuming the residual is reduced by $0.25/mile, the CAP cost would have to be about $47,000 to get to that payment.

Did they give you the adjusted CAP cost? Are there $3000 in legitimate charges? (acq.fee, tax, DMV fees, etc?)

I have a dealer who negotiated a good MSRP (43,300 + $2300 after tax rebate) for a 2016 C300 Sport with sticker of 49,025.

he is however refusing to honor .00064 MF saying that is the price he gets the loan from the bank and is charging me .00154 saying this is best he can do. I guess it's time to walk away and find a new dealer?

I find there is no point in negotiating price, until we agree on the base money factor. Otherwise, the negotiations mean nothing.

The difference is only $65/mo. or $2340.

This is my 1st time leasing, I focussed a lot of getting the MSRP down to an acceptable level with the assumption that getting the dealer to honor MB's pre-set MF and RV would not be such a battle. I guess I should make it clear going forward.

Once you get the math down, leasing isn't that complicated. But, you still have the dealer negotiating experience, which hasn't really changed that much. Most will still try to obfuscate the process and hide the numbers.

We don't track selling prices - read back through the last page or two of this discussion to see what others have paid.

We'd suggesting rolling in the Acq fee to the cap cost - only out of pocket would be first payment and DMV costs.

Went to a dealer today and they are telling me the MF for a 2016 is now .00117. Doesn't seem right to me, seems more in line with the 2017's

Those numbers are still the same for the 2016's in February.

Dealer is marking up the MF, it seems.

.00124 is the MF for the 2017 C300 RWD this month.
