Here is the deal that I just was offered:

MSRP minus 5.8%.
$1500 winter certificate
$2000 certificate for my place of work
Plus another $1000 off

So, if I choose a C300 RWD, with msrp of $44K, the final cap cost would be $38,448.

MF for 36/12 being quoted at .00156 (I think this is inflated, right?)
Residual is .62

Do you think this is a good deal?
What would this make my payment.

Using your prices - and the base MF - I get $410/mo + tax.

Autopay deducts .00010 from the MF ... for 2016 C300, it becomes .00142

The best discounts are for units in stock. You'll be able to get a discount on a pre-ordered model, but I doubt it will be as large.

Another question is I don't really need the car until late January 2016. Is it worth it to take advantage of the "winter event" and lease by year end?

Hard to say whether the deals will be better or worse next month; I know MB is trying to clear out the 2015 inventory, however.

On the surface, it looks OK, but without knowing the net cap cost, it's hard to fully evaluate.

Generally, 36 month leases are better.

I have been trolling several dealers looking for the best deal. I think I may have found the best one so far, these have all been on line and over the phone too, showrooms aggravate me too much. Here's the deal, please let me know how it looks and if there are any recommendations on getting the price down further.

10k,36 months-$527 a month including NJ sales tax of 7%, $493 a month if I pay tax upfront
The money factor he used was .0017, not .00152 which I did mention it should be but he said there is nothing else he could do, the 12% off Msrp he claimed made mf .0017. We also discussed autopay but that is not included in here yet, have to run my credit first.
If I do the 527 a mo deal, nothing down but dmv fees and acquisition. I think it's a pretty solid deal, thoughts?

$527/mo with tax for a $54K car is a pretty good payment.

Dealer has to make money somewhere - either the big discount from sticker or the base MF. Obviously, you want both but may not get them.

Autopay reduces the MF by .00010

I told him I needed to think about it and told him my payment needed to be less, I couldn't justify that much per month. He called me back a half hr later with $512 a month, tax included. $2084 walk off=1st mo payment 512, $795 acq, $329 dmv, $249 title fee (this isn't the same as DMV?), $10 paperwork, $7.50 tire tax.

$15/mo x 36 months = $540, which is probably the additional amount of discount on the selling price he's giving you.

Do you know if autopay requires a certain credit score? I think I am around 730-740. That should drop it down another 8-9$, I think I may also tell him the payment needs to be lower, I'm ok with this price so I have nothing to lose either way.

I defined this as an 'OK' deal, because the dealer frustrated me a little bit about the MF: I should get a better MF as 0.00072, which equals standard MF 0.00152 - 0.0001(auto-pay) - 0.0007(7-month security deposit). While the bottom MF the sales can offer is 0.00100. He frankly told me they wanna make more profit -_-

I used to lease a 2013 C250 with an MSRP of $36,455, I paid $277 + Tax as monthly, with a $500 drive-off! No down, no MSD, nothing else!

MB definitely raised up their margin, and made it harder and harder for us to get good deal...

We don't have that number. Most likely $0.20-0.30 per mile
