Does the calculator add the acq fee to the selling price, or assume that it's paid up front.

As I pointed out, my calculations with the adjusted residual are only a few dollars off the dealer quote, so it looks like there isn't anything hidden.

The dealer mentioned that I'd have to pay a $595 disposition fee upon return of the car at end of lease. They said they can wave this fee if I decide to lease or purchase another Mercedes at the end. Is this a standard fee Mercedes dealers charge at end of a lease?

What state is this? There are only a handful of states that applies sales tax on a lease to the entire selling price.

NY State. Isn't the adjusted cap cost = the sale price ? Or am I wrong ?

Adjusted cap cost = sale price plus taxes and fees you are not paying up front, less any cap reduction you make (down payment)

I get $488/mo with those numbers.

Ask for the adjusted cap cost, and how they got to that number from your quoted selling price.

For your reference, NY taxes the sum of the payments and collects that money up front. You can pay them at lease signing, or choose to roll them into the monthly payment.

Ok just got numbers. They added the prepaid maintenance and garmin chip to the cap cost total, as well as $795 acquisition fee. They also added to msrp to residualize. Final numbers are 559$/mo with 936$ drive off(1st pymt, mv fees).
