Deal #3 is asking for $2200 upfront, so they can hit that magic $400 payment. It must work, because that's the one you want.

All of those deals are about the same total cost, relative to MSRP.

Unless you want the extra options on deal #2 or deal #3, I'd go with deal #1, as that car is cheaper, ergo, so is the total cost.

sorry I am a bit spamming here... the dealer keeps on showing me this deal for a premium3. Higher cost but continues to tell me it's a better deal. It results in me gettinf a way lower score on lease calculator... is this guy trying to trick me?

Those are just random numbers on a piece of paper, not a fully qualified lease quote.

Sorry. I was in a rush since I was at the dealership. It is $950 driveoff , 55,655 MSRP . $453 aftertax for 3years for 7,500 miles.

I ended up getting Option 3 from above which is

    MSRP 52855
    selling price: 45,000 (I think)

36 month lease, 7500 miles per year
    driveoff $2,200 ******
    monthly $400 inlcuding TAX

    MF N/A
    Resid. N/A

I was not able to get a "sharpen the pencil" kind of deal even when I went to the dealership in person. A few remaining questions I have would be, do people get better deals than what they were quoted via email/text when they actually show up? I was not able to get one and that made me very disappointed. I am now even unclear if that option 3 deal was a "good deal."

Also, are people able to negotiate for maintenance? I was told that they had absolutely no room either. I ended up paying $~18 a month extra for maintenance. When I'm only driving 7,500 a mile per year, is this maintenance even worth it? I heard it doesn't even cover the brakes...

Look at it from the dealer point of view. Negotiating via email or text is not generally taken as seriously as a person standing in front of you, able to sign the paperwork right then and there.

I'm not aware if the pre-paid maintenance can be negotiated. I was offered a pre-paid maintenance program on my Jetta last year - I think the cost would have been just under $10/mo. I passed on it, because I too drive low miles (I've had my car just over 12 months and have about 5700 miles on it). I took it in for the annual service and it cost me about $94 - the pre-paid amount would have meant I paid $120 for the same service.

But, I understand the convenience of having it pre-paid - my daughter has that with her MINI, so no need to budget for the service visits.

Consumables like tires and brake pads are generally not covered under these types of programs.

A local dealer (MB Foothill Ranch in SoCal) has a 2017 C300 lease special.
    MSRP $41,725
    Gross CAP cost: $39,696
    Capitalized cost reduction $2,999
    36/10K
    Payment before tax is $349

It looks like RV and MF are better than 60% and 0.00121. Does anyone know what is RV and MF for this deal?

    Thanks

.00121 and 60% are the correct numbers, this month.

If I subtract the cap reduction from the gross cap cost, I get $399/mo.

Something seems off with the math on that dealer ad.

Any help on this august lease deal appreciated. 36 mo/10k miles.

    c43 sedan awd
    msrp:68310
    selling price: 62310
lease assignment fee: $1194 (assume this is destination + dmv, etc)
    adj cap cost: 63504
    money factor: 0.00133
    Residual: 60%

money factor seems marked up from 0.00123. correct?

If I do MSDs what would be my lowest possible money factor? Are mercedes MSDs better than paying lease up front? Thanks in advance for any help.

    .00123 MF and 60% residual

The lease assignment fee is the acquisition fee of $795 (probably marked up to $1095), plus some random $99 fee.

Yes, the money factor appears to be marked up (but, not by much).
If the dealer allows MSDs against the .00123 MF, its 10 X .00007 = .00070 reduction, leaving .00053

I think MSDs are preferable to a single-pay lease.

What payment did they quote you?
    How much due at signing?

Here is a deal I received in NY for a 2017 C Class 4matic (Base model): MSRP 50,605, Adjusted cap cost (sale price + taxes+ fees not being paid upfront less down payment) $46,399. Includes USSA discount, Premium 3, remote start, ambient lighting, Navigation, 17 inch wheels, maintenance included, LED headlights, Lunar blue, $ factor .000108 minus auto pay discount, residual 61% 36 months/10K per year $559 per month with $1844 out the door (first month, acquisition fee, etc.). Is this a good deal or should I wait until after Labor Day for better incentives? Thank you in advance because you guys have always been extremely helpful in the past.

I get $515/mo with those numbers; less if I apply the autopay discount to the MF

i just leased a 2017 c350e w/ P3, pano roof and heated seat. 3 yr cost me $20k for a hybrid. Any thoughts on how much I overpaid?

    Adjusted Cap Cost: 45,162
    RV: 32,076.9 (58%)

    MF: not disclosed to me?
    Rent charge: 3,809.7
    Tax: 8.25%
    Base Monthly: 469.3
    Monthly Tax: 43.41
    Security Deposit: 6,000
    Fees (Lic+Reg+Doc+efiling): 517
    Upfront Tax: 53.65
    Acquisition fee: 1095

I show .00132 as the base money factor.
Looks like your money factor is about .00137, and that's after the security deposits, so looks like they marked it up, before applying the MSD discount.
Acquisition fee is marked up from the $795 base.
I think the maintenance plan would have provided far more value than the insurance plan. At least you know you'll get something for the maintenance plan.

It depends on the residual; the delta between a 24 and 36 month residual may result in the 24 month lease payment being higher.

Can I please get MF/residual for 2017 C350e for 36/12k in so cal. Also, is federal rebate offered as credit like BMW leases or has to be claimed separately? Thanks!

This is the deal I am working with:

    2017 C300 4Matic Sedan Demo in NY
Currently with 8800 miles on it
    MSRP: 50,910
    Selling Price: 42,200
Residual Factor he gave was for 10k Miles: 61%
    Money Factor: .00108

The dealership took over the last 4 payments of my current Lexus lease which were $399 a month totaling $1600.

I can’t hold onto the Lexus because I only have 1,000 miles left on the lease terms

I told him I needed 3 years 12k miles per year. After going back and forth he gave me this offer. The offer we came to together was 0 down except taxes and fees ($3443) and $430 a month where I am no longer responsible for my Lexus payments.

    This is with autopay.

    Can someone evaluate this deal?

.00108 and 61% are correct, but autopay would reduce the MF to .00098

And, the residual would be adjusted to account for the demo miles - if we assume .25/mile, then deduct $2200 from the calculated residual.

Let's leave the trade out of this, for the moment.

Using the supplied MSRP and selling price, I get $448/mo for 10K; $461/mo for 12K

Your quote looks good, but we suggest rolling everything but the first payment and DMV costs into the lease payment. Gov. Cuomo won't refund your pre-paid taxes if the car gets stolen or totaled during the lease.

You have no end of lease responsibilities on the Lexus with this quote? MB dealer is taking it in trade?
