$436/mo.+tax, assuming $1500 covers first payment, $795 acq.fee and DMV/doc fees. $1500 probably isn't enough for all that. Add another $300 to the CAP cost, to cover the overage, and it's $444/mo.+tax.

What are they quoting?

I was pushing for $1500 down including first months payment. The last offer I got (and walked away from) was $2500 down and $425/mo.+tax. This is in the ballpark of what you have advised so i may consider it. Thank you !

I think you can get a bigger discount from sticker, given the demo miles. Read back through the last page or two of posts to see what others have paid.

We suggest you limit your out of pocket to just the first payment and DMV / registration costs - roll the taxes and fees into the cap cost.

Should I hold firm with the 54% on the coupe. The vehicle I found was a 49K MSRP with 7500 miles selling for 39. Hoping to get that down to 36, which, if my math is correct, should put me around $370/month for 36/1

You should get the car you're going to be happy driving for the next 3 years.

A good lease deal isn't so good if you don't like the car you end up with.

I agree, which is why I've sort of removed bmw from the equation.

It's just frustrating that every dealer seems to tell me something different about leasing cpos or loaners.

Just so you know, those are two very different scenarios.

Leasing a demo or service loaner shouldn't be too difficult - there is usually an adjustment to the residual to account for the miles, but everything else is the same as leasing a new car.

Not every brand has a CPO lease program - how do you determine the residual value of two different 2014 328i's, one with 21,000 miles and another with 30,000 miles? Do individual packages or options change the numbers? As these are used cars, the complexity of the program increases dramatically.

I agree with the math on the quote - what numbers are you using?

FYI, the MF is marked up from .00108 and the acquisition fee is marked up from $795 - those two items are adding over $20/mo to the quoted payment.

Did you see where they adjusted the residual from $30,546 to $29,278.60?
That's how they account for the existing mileage on the vehicle.
So, you have to use 57.51% for the residual
Also, you aren't paying the $1095 acquisition fee upfront, so you have to add that to the CAP cost.
(Gross Cap $41,082 from the screenshot)

Try it again with those changes, and you'll see it's exact.

You need the adjusted CAP cost, because you don't have all the numbers. $2000 wouldn't be enough to pay the upfront amounts you mentioned, plus the acquisition fee, plus the first payment. With the adjusted CAP cost we could check the calculations. They look pretty close to me.

00121 is the base MF on the RWD C300.

With your prices, I'm within $1 of your dealer quote.

I'd restructure the deal to only put first payment and DMV costs up front.
