Hi Sorry, please see the new below.
Same questions as with your MB quote:
What state is this?
What is the adjusted cap cost?
Don't see any reference to tax or acquisition fee.

Adjusted cap is the negotiated price (MSRP less discounts) plus any taxes and fees you aren't paying up front.
Hello everyone, I am in a bizarre situation. On Nov 2nd, I signed the paperwork on 2017 X3 xDrive28i for lease. And I picked up the car on Nov 7th since it was a good day per religious calendar. I noticed that the odometer miles said 79mi and my paperwork said 12mi. I immediately went back inside and told the sales rep and he said he will talk to the finance manager the next day and have the miles corrected on the paperwork. Here comes the interesting part: This evening I was trying to setup apple carplay and noticed that the option is unavailable. So, I compared the VIN of the car with the VIN on paperwork and you guessed right - they are different. I went to the dealer website and searched both VINs and the one I have with me still says as available for purchase and the car I was supposed to get is removed from their inventory.
I felt the customer service was horrible even on the day of purchase. This is the first time I am leasing and was not sure if I got a decent deal or got ripped off. I did some basic research on the lease keywords before purchasing and ultimately this is the deal I got:
1st month payment $1000, next 35 monthly payments are $635.84. Total cost at the end of lease $23,254.40
From other posts I noticed that the MF is 0.00134. Am I right? Because, the manager said to me that 0.00174 is the MF from BMW for customers with excellent credit. And some people got sales price in mid $46k and mostly the monthly payments are in sub $500. Did I get ripped off on my car lease? I have 800+ credit score and seems like they didn't give me the lowest MF. They also didn't tell me about MSD to lower my monthly payments.
What are my options now? Is it too late to negotiate the monthly payments on the car that I was supposed to get? Or can I call off the deal since they gave me the wrong car and also lied on the MF?
You can't renegotiate a deal, after it's done. You also can't call any negotiated deal a "rip-off", if you agree to it. Dealers are also under no obligation to help you save money. In fact, in a negotiation, you have to recognize that you are on opposite sides. The money factor is marked up from the base amount. That's typical for BMW dealers.
But, if you got the wrong car, take it back immediately.
anupoju I agree with the above comments. When leasing you need to have the correct mileage and correct VIN number. You were given the wrong car. You also will have the wrong VIN on your registration and this may become a problem at some time. Do not drive the car except to the dealer and get the correct car. Speak directly to the manager. You paid for a car that appears to have more features than the one you got. I would also check to see if other options are also missing. Good luck.
Do you think there will be any incentives in December on the X3 x28? My dealer said he expects a $1,000 holiday cash credit. I am hoping for $1,500 or $2,000. Too optimistic?
Also will the current November 36/10k residual change from 64%?
Will the $1,000 loyalty credit continue into December?

I currently have a lease on a 2014 x3 28i that is up 12/23/2016. I called BMW and was given the option to extend the lease for 3 months. 2 sets of questions:1- are lease incentives (historically) better Nov/Dec or March? 2-If I get a new lease now for 2017 x3 28i, what are the current incentives, the money factor (does it vary by state - in Maryland), and what is the residual? The dealer is giving me numbers straight off the bmwusa website - it appears I am receiving NO discount!! Any guidance would be much appreciated. Thank you!

.00134 and 61% for 36/12 7% off sticker before incentives is a good BMW discount No guesses as to what the numbers will look like next spring.
I forgot to include my lease terms in my posting - I will be leasing for 36 months/10,000 miles a year...how does that affect the data? I live in Maryland - are the sales taxes added to the Gross Capitalized Cost, or calculated into the monthly payment? Also, what are the current incentives other than the $1,000 I have seen online? Thanks again for the information!!

Add 1% to go from 12K/yr to 10K/yr.
Maryland taxes the full selling price, and collects it upfront. So, you'd have to add it to the Gross CAP. Haven't seen the $1000 you refer to.
The 2017 X3 lease isn't anything special now. If your current payment is low, and you won't be going out of warranty, I'd keep it for three more months, and see what happens.
Does anyone know where the interest rate/money number comes from? The number in this post is .00134/3.2%, yet the dealer quoted me .00154/3.69%. Without knowing where the number in this post came from I can't argue the point that his rate is too high....

The source of the data is confidential, but you can trust that we're giving you the right data.
You don't argue the number; you politely tell the dealer you won't sign a deal with a marked up MF. They know what the base rate is. If they continue to balk, it may be time to move on to another dealers. Only takes one to meet your numbers.
Does BMW have one-pay lease? if yes what is the money factor in that case? for 2017 X3 xDrive 28i, 12K/36 months in NJ. and residual for November? thanks
2017 X3 xDrive MSRP 55K .00134 MF CAP Cost 47500. $495/mo + Sales Taxes x 36 months 10k mi/yr $999 total due at signing.
Please..help me!! This is the first lease I have negotiated - the first time I was clueless...trying to make a more educated deal this time but I'm nowhere near your numbers - I am in Maryland with 6% tax paid up front - please tell me the steps to accomplish such a great deal. I've worked the numbers as best I can before going back to the dealer with my rebuttal to his deal (pretty much what is offered on the BMW website), but I'm still near $600 with $1200 down with my numbers - not even close to your numbers. The difference in tax calculations alone will make your lease more expensive. Most states tax the monthly payment; MD is one of a handful of states that tax the entire selling price.
If you have the MSRP and negotiated price of your deal, we can try to work the numbers.
Also, get a breakdown of the $1200 due up front - probably not enough to cover all the drive off costs, so the balance is being added into the lease payment as well.
I have uploaded the features list and the page the quote they sent us. I want to add that this vehicle has 19" wheels rather than the standard 18" - I guess the car was ordered for someone and they decided against it - I do know they are getting the vehicle from another dealer - they wont tell me where or give me the vin number. They also told me the interest rate is 3.69% (higher than the MF according to previous posts).

For 36/10 - Using a MF of .00174, I get a payment of $625/mo. With the base MF, the payment drops to $590/mo.
The residual and depreciation are not shown in the worksheet so I dont know the numbers they (or you) used in the worksheet - and with that in mind, what steps are used to calculate the dealer's and your numbers? The $590 you quote - is that with $0 cash down?

64% for 36/10 and .00134 base MF.
I just used the numbers you've provided. I don't see the $925 acquisition fee mentioned anywhere.
The $995 is the difference between the net total and the total suggested price - its missing the number but the difference between the two is $995. The taxes should be 6% but I couldnt find any combination of numbers that the tax total is 6% of - I asked the dealer to recheck that figure. Is your figure of $590 with $0 down (other than first month's payment)?

can you tell me how the taxes are figured into the equation since they have to be paid in full - are they factored into the payment somehow? All the information I've found online showing how the calculations work use as examples states that only charge the portion of the tax according the term of the lease and its figured into the payment each month. I want to figure out how much down we have to have to get my payment to $560/month and want to understand the formula. BTW - thank you very much for sharing your knowlege and insight!!

You can choose to pay the taxes up front when you sign the paperwork or they can be added to the negotiated selling price and be part of the monthly payment.
