Assuming it has a split front bench, you could cram 2 lines in it, and all the gear in the trunk no doubt.
Regarding AC, it may not be needed in Seattle compared to Atlanta or Las Vegas, but I swear it is hotter here in the summer than when I was a kid, and you'll still sweat a bit without it.
Some people need air more than others...I just hate to be hot.
I remember when I had the beater 79 Continental. When I got it the first thing I got fixed was the AC. It was rotted, smoked, had zero oil pressure at hot idle.... BUT it threw 30 degree air from the vents that would frost over if the windows were cracked on a humid day. 4.5 lbs of R12 Freon, it would have cooled a small house.

I did the same when I was fixing up my 70 DeVille convertible. A couple of cans of R12 and frigid air restored. That was when R12 was cheap and not yet commonly known that it was harmful to the ozone. As it made little difference to the poor gas mileage the Caddy got, AC with the top down was icing on the cake.

RE: '81 Rolls --"3rd owner's health forces prompt sale" -- heart attack after last repair bill, I'd guess.
RE: '90 Volksbaru -- they might get that price if it's really well-equipped and ready to roll. Small RV camping is a big deal right now, especially with Vanagons. They caravan in large groups and party.
RE: '82 Porsche ---GEEZ, this deal is so "iffy" on many levels. Is it a "real" slantnose? Where's the engine? Where's the transmission? The owner never, ever researched the car's origins? Really?
I dealt with no AC in the fintail for years, but when it came time to get a car made after I was born, I wanted AC. The prior owner of the W126 had the system updated, so it worked fine - sometimes not a strong point of those cars. One can manage here without AC, but if they are a native, they probably think anything above 85 is a fiery hellscape, and will want it.
Interesting set of CL ads. Makes me jealous here in Rustville, MI.
Regarding the Westy. Steiner's law of used cars states that "you do not buy any model where a named engine swap exists." Just the fact that people know what you mean by "Subaru Engine Conversion" pretty much is all you need to know. Of course, these are not really used cars, they are people's toys and probably third vehicles.
The exception to the above Law is the LS1 swap. That's different.
The CRX, if as nice as it looks, is a deal. Try finding better.
Over 300,000 miles?! That car looks fantastic for that mileage! And, "many months" would save most people a bundle versus buying even the cheapest new car.

@jpp75, You had to send me down the BAT rabbit hole. That 88 TBird Turbo Coupe caught my eye. Luckily, an auto trans and bid way up. Could have been a great way go 'back in the day'. I didn't realize the auction was just about to end, but it sold for 10,650. Yes, I went back down the rabbit hole.

I noticed the 88 TBird as well in my venture down the rabbit hole. It's the car I would have bought 35 years ago, but with a manual.
I saw one of those last year. It was black and black and had been lowered, and obviously had a sport exhaust and different wheels. It looked really appealing, I must say, in that configuration.
My 83 Turbo Coupe was similar to the not so nice one, and I also upgraded to those same Mustang rims. It was black with a red interior like the better looking one.
