At some point, they will stop leasing the 2017 model. Probably not before October, but you never know.
Can't tell you what the programs will be then, but selection will probably be a lot worse.

That depends on how much 2017 inventory is left when the 2018's start to hit the dealer lots.

My guess? MF and residual both will be higher on the 2018's. As the discounting on them will likely be less, the lease payments will be higher than on a 2017.

Getting closer to leasing.... just want to confirm 2017 MDX AWD Base (MSRP $47025.) with 36/12 lease has a MF of .00059 and a residual of 58% for July AND dealer is getting $2,000 from Acura to pass on to me or not? :-) Thanks in advance for your help!

What Fees should I expect to pay up front on a lease? I am being quoted 1st month payment, $399 doc fee, and $600 bank fee.

The acquisition fee (aka bank fee) is actually $595.
The doc fee is a dealer fee and variable. It signifies nothing, except them asking you for more money.
Usually, you'll have DMV fees (government fees), as well.

The doc fee is pure profit for the dealer; it depends on the state

My doc fee on my latest lease was $500 last summer; in Florida, I've seen doc fees of $899 or higher.

CA limits the doc fee to $80; NY, $75.

So, $399 is about average.

How do incentives work? If I'm looking to lease the 2017 MDX AWD Advanced vehicle (in NC) for 36/12 does the dealer apply the $2000 towards the price of the vehicle so a stickered vehicle at $57,500 is now $55,500 and then I negotiate from that amount?

You want to negotiate the best price, then subtract the incentive.

I negotiated the discount to $5362 and then asked if leased what my payment would be and he added the extra $1000 incentive.

I can't tell you, without seeing the dealer lease worksheet.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and see if that's different from the number they've given you.

Oops... 36 months 10k miles. If there's a more favorable term (eg, for my old Nissan 39 months provide significantly better lease terms than 36), I'd just do that. Thanks.

36 months is the sweet spot for Acura.

The tax amount may be against the incentives; I do not see a tax amount against the selling price, you are correct.

Hi - the $17.37 is the monthly tax amount in the lease. For some reason there doesn't seem to be any sales tax to lease this vehicle. Seems strange.

Also, the MF is .00055 and the residual is 56%.

Your thoughts on this deal.

That doesn't sound right - VA taxes the entire selling price of the vehicle. Have you checked with other dealers?
