While your at it: MF/RV for 36/12K and 36/10K. Also, does Acura support MSD and Autopay MF discounts, if so the value for these. Thank You Very Much in Advance.

.00077 MF and 57%/58% residual for 12K/10K, 36 months $1000 bonus lease cash
Okay.. they calculated the upfront money at $3181, but you are only putting up $1900, that's where the extra $1281 added to the selling price comes from.
.00097 MF and 59% residual It's 36 months, 7.5K/yr, right?
The calculations are correct. Assuming you are happy with the discount from MSRP, you need an accounting of the $3181 inception.
I received this quote today in NY on MDX ADV 36/15K. $3,321 out of pocket (covers taxes, acquisition and 1st month payment) $649.89 monthly payments. Selling price $53,670 MSRP was about $57,000. Is this deal ok or can I do better? I qualified for 3 months pull ahead program.

.00077 and 55%. With your prices, I get $687/mo
Confirm the breakdown of the upfront monies; there may be some cap reduction in there.

Here's the breakdown $649.89 1st month. Acquisition fee $595. Taxes on monthly payment $2,076.40. Taxes on down payment and acq fee $52.81 all info from dealer sale sheet. So is this a good deal on the MDX AWD ADV at $649.89 a month.

Yes, it looks good from here.
Thank you very much. I think I'm gonna pulll the trigger on the deal.
Just wanted to say a quick thanks for all of the information from the moderators. It has helped immensely in getting a great deal, and inthe overall understanding of the lease process. Thanks again!

I'm signing everything on Monday when the car comes in (they didn't have in stock). Which leads me to a question -- is the lease cash available for the AWD, and do packages matter? I believe the dealer is just rolling the lease cash into the discount, but want to be able to press them on Monday.
Here are the details as of now, MDX AWD w/ Tech & Ent Packages for 36/12: MSRP $53,435 (add-on protection package and trailer hitch, which comes to 55,085) cap cost $51,805 Fees + Fee tax: $1437 (I have these broken out as well, but not on me right now) Trade-in: $500 (it's an '04 pretty beat up Jeep... might could have gotten a bit more) Taxes: $3740.45 (GA taxes... 7% on the MSRP, but I believe I can leave out the add-on dealer packages) -- this is an estimate, because the Dept of Revenue uses its own "fair market value" Adj Cap cost: 56,482.45 Resid %: 57% MF: .00077
Their monthly numbers were based on estimated tax, which I know was a high estimate, but my calc comes out to $789. Does that sound right to you (tax estimate above)?
Trying to cut a deal on SH-AWD Advance. I was originally thinking 36/12, but now also want to consider 36/10 since I have a third vehicle I could drive if close to miles limit. I have looked through May posts and don't see residual for 36/10. So, what is residual for the SH-AWD Advance 36/10 lease? I assume MF and lease cash the same.
Also thanks for the info on this forum. It has been extremely helpful in negotiations.

I believe GA taxes the selling price, not the sticker price.

The taxes are what kills your lease payment.
I'm within $1 of your calculations.
Good to know about the tax on the selling price, and agreed, the new(er) tax law here makes the lease absurd. No ad-volorem or monthly payment tax, but monthly payments are much higher. Have actually been debating about switching to purchase for that reason... not a whole lot different in payment.

If your purchase payment is similar to the lease payment, I can see your reasoning.
Went to a South Florida dealer today and got this offer:
Sign and Drive - $0 out-of-pocket 2017 MDX Advance FWD 36/12 MSRP $55,340 Sale Price $51,204 Net Cap $48,843 (with trade) $542.45 base monthly (includes all fees and $799 dealer fee) $575/mo total including taxes .00077 MF & 57% RV
Do the numbers look right and would you consider this a good deal? What are the lease incentives for this vehicle? I am also a 3x Honda lease holder and a USAA member.
I'm pretty sure this can be better - my trade (Honda) is worth 33k (private party) and the payoff is $26,400. I'd like to be around $500/month all-in.

Your thoughts?
Thank you!
The calculation is correct. Can't tell you if your trade appraisal is good, but dealers don't pay private party prices. They pay trade-in, at best. I look at dealer fees as being added to the price of the vehicle, so that takes your sale price to $52,000 even.
Can you tell me MF and residual on base model for 36/10 please in Los Angeles?
If i I plan to purchase at the end of the lease does it make sense to go with Lowe miles, maybe 7500/year?
.00077 MF and 60% residual. $750 lease cash.
No, take the mileage you need.. If you end up buying it in the end, it won't cost you any more. But, if you decide to turn it in, you'll avoid paying more in mileage charges than you would have saved.

Here's the deal in NJ MDX AWD Tech, 36 months, 7500 miles
MSRP $51,435.
Selling price: $46,064
price adjustment: $1,281
adjusted selling price: $47,
Cap cost: $47,345
inception fees:$3181
selling price: $46,064
"cash deficiency" $1281
max advance: $67460
residual value: $28,289 (55%)
mileage adjustment +4%
adjusted residual $30,346
$1900 out of pocket, $548.99/month
.00097 MF and 59% residual
It's 36 months, 7.5K/yr, right?
The calculations are correct.
Assuming you are happy with the discount from MSRP, you need an accounting of the $3181 inception.
$549 1st payment
$700 acquisition fee
$1400 tax (my estimate)
That leaves a little over $500. DMV and dealer fees?
If that makes sense (ask them for their numbers), then it looks pretty good.
