Considering my fourth MDX. I am considering a 2017 SH-AWD Advance.
I am in TN and would like MF and residual for 36 months, both 12k and 15k miles, with nothing down (other than first months payment).
Also, with respect to an Acura Financial lease, what fees are typically charged (acquisition, etc)?
Is there a disposition fee at the end of an Acura Financial lease? Is it waived if the vehicle is purchased, or a new vehicle leased?
Also, I see in some posts above there is lease cash available. How is this handled in the process? Is this dealer money I should consider in negotiating the price; an automatic reduction of capitalized cost; put toward payments; etc??
Also, as an aside, any MF and residual figures released yet for the hybrid? Thanks for your help.

$1000 lease cash - which is a factory to dealer incentive. Use the knowledge to negotiate your best price.
There is an acquisition fee assessed at lease inception.
If you turn the car in and do not lease another Acura, then you pay the disposition fee. If you buy the car at the end of the lease or lease or purchase another Acura, that fee is waived.

.00094 and 56% for 36 months, 15,000 miles per year
Working on a lease for 2017 MDX AWD with Tech Package. Here is what I'm being offered:
MSRP: $51,435 Selling Price: $46,988.54 Term: 36 months Miles: 12k per year Money Factor: .00094 Residual: 58% Bank Fee: $595 Doc Fee: $399 DMV: $304.50 Tire Tax: $7.50 Luxury Tax: $197.95 Out of pocket: $2,000 Monthly Payment: $587
Does the math work on this? Any other reactions?
If the selling price is the cap cost, I get $512/mo with those numbers, before tax.
What is the adjusted cap cost? If higher than the selling price, what was added.
After all the fees, is the rest of the $2000 being used as cap reduction?
What state and tax rate is this?
The state is New Jersey and the tax rate is 7%. The taxes are being rolled in. The 2000 is covering first months payment and then going towards fees and taxes. Whatever it doesn't cover is being rolled in.

You have about $2100 in upfront costs listed, and that's without the tax. I'm surprised they didn't list the tax amount as well, since it's collected upfront.
I get right around $590/mo., with estimating tax. Since I'm estimating, I'll guess their math is correct.
Sales Tax (estimate): + $2,813.85 Tag/Registration Fees (estimate): + $498.75 Tire/Battery/MVWEA: + $8.50 Dealer Service Fee: + $699.95 Balance Due (estimate): $49,280.05 No Trade-In LEASE OPTIONS Cash Due $0 36 months 15,000 Miles $676/month with tax
Typical AN lease quote - show you the purchase numbers, then magically display a lease payment.
Lease tax in FL is assessed against the monthly payment, so ignore the $2800 line item.
No mention of acquisition fee, which is mandatory for every Acura lease.
Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and how they got to that number from the AN price.
.00094 and 59% for 36/10.
Hi,
Thanks again. Here is from the dealer:
The cap cost is $45,854 which includes a $595 acquisition fee. The money factor is .00122 and the residual is 56% based on 15,000 miles per year. The $676 payment includes Seminole County sales tax of 7%.
Hi, I was quoted following deal today. Can any of you help me in deciding if this makes sense or not:
17 MDX Technology pack List price: 51,435.00 Sale Price: 46,685.00 Sales Tax: 1962.29 Title & Fees: 746.11 Zip code: 20171 (VA) 12000 Miles / Year 36000 miles Money Factor: 0.00094 Residual Value: 29832.30 0 Down Lease Payment: 635
Is $635 correct number based on above numbers? Is it possible to get better deal? Really appreciate help in advance.

I agree with the .00094 MF; 58% is the 36/12 residual for the MDX with tech package.
If I add the sales tax and title/fees to the selling price, I get $618/mo. If I add in the acquisition fee of $595, I get $635/mo.

Hello happy Easter. I've been well educated by this forum but nevertheless I lack full confidence when negotiating. I know to focus on the cap cost, money factor, residual etc and most dealers will just throw you the basics. So my question is if the monthly + tax and drive off $$$ foots with my own calculations based on what I want the cap cost to be along with the drive off amounting to first months' payment with DMV fees, is that good enough or where would I be getting deceived? This is what I'm quoted for a 2017 MDX FWD - Advance "Here is best lease on 17 MDX-ADV $1.284 drive off 36month $650+ tax 12K color black Cooper / Espresso when you like to come in please let me know you can call for appt. Thank You"

You need to know the MSRP and cap cost, and what the $1284 covers.
do leases get more or less attractive going into the model year? Am I better off waiting until the 2018 for a better deal?
It varies by model. In my experience, even though the numbers might change, the monthly payment tends to be pretty steady, throughout the year.
Do you mean wait until the 2018 model is out, to get a good deal on the 2017? Sometimes, that works, but your choices tend to be narrow, and sometimes the lease deals go away without notice.
Waiting to lease a 2018 model? Probably more expensive.
Typically from what I've seen, Residuals drop through the year and MF's do as well to compensate. If the MFs were already super low out comes the "lease cash"

So if one were to search for an average anticipated monthly payment for MDX AWD 36/12K TECH package with no more than $2000 upfront for taxes/fees, is it realistic to think I can get a MDX for $550 in NJ?
best deal I have right now is $1900 out of pocket 36/12K tech package for $587/month.
so two questions here:
1) how realistic to get $550/month for a tech with no more than $2K out of pocket

I just received an offer from a central Florida dealer. I can run lease calculations just fine, but what I am coming up with and what they come up with are about $40-50 different per month. I assume somethings are not being shown (for example they didn't show me a dealer fee). Any suggestions?
Acura Advance FWD 36 months/15k per year
MSRP $55,475 Selling price $49,449.77 Tax $206.41 Tag and Title $316.50 Doc prep $699 Local sales tax is 6.5% I am trading in an underwater car but I am paying the difference at closing so that's a wash
If I make a net down payment of $70, monthly payment is $699 If I make a net down payment of $1,070, monthly payment is 670. If I make a net down payment of $3,070, monthly payment is $611.
The lease payments for the additional down payments are consistent with a .00094 money factor and 56% residual.
So besides the acquisition fee, what am I missing from the calculation.
