The residual is reduced to account for the current mileage. If the car has over 5000 miles, it probably won't lease well.

Will get you the exact MSRP but it was just about $48k. Deal sheet says Cap Reduction: $4661. Sorry forgot to state the mileage . This deal is for 10k/36. Would also be interested in seeing #s for 12k/36.

Generally, we suggest 7% off sticker, before incentives, but you're way beyond that already, likely to account for the demo miles.

I went back to the dealer and asked them to help me understand the numbers. When calculating they said they actually gave me additional discount accidentally when everything was rolled into the monthlies. So final was 45700ish? Apparently the finance manager forgot to add something.

When I calculate, I feel like I'm being charged an extra 2k over the entire course of the lease. Would you agree? And would you pay that loss of about 9k upfront or roll it into the monthlies and pay tax and interest on it?

Here is a photo. When asked the finance mngr says there are costs rolled into that sell price of 52002. Should it not be 50500?

Why do you need a service warranty, when BMW comes with 3/36 free scheduled maintenance?
$1158 for tire/wheel insurance?
That's a lot of money upfront for dubious benefits.

?? They updated the coverage so they cover less now. All 6 of my past BMWs needed pad and rotor replacement along with other maintenance that is no longer covered. Wheel and tire? Its been helpful and financially sound to me based on tire replacement needs from the last 4 BMWs w run flats. In fact greatly benefited from the tire and wheel warranty bc my 19" rims cracked. The 9k minus? That's a move I'm regretting. I guess I was a kid in a candy store after a long day of getting my [non-permissible content removed] kicked at work and I just wanted to get done w the deal.

Can you hold off on the transaction, so the negative equity can go down? That alone will add $250/mo to whatever lease payment you negotiate.

Dealers are getting more stubborn with the MF - you can get the base MF but a smaller discount, or a marked up MF and a bigger discount from sticker. Harder to get both, but as a 5 time repeat customer, I'd be just as stubborn.

Yes, you'll pay tax on the cap reduction. Yet another reason to avoid it.

All of them are taxable, I believe.

For a leftover 2017, 10% off MSRP, before incentives, may be possible.

Incentives are only good for purchase, on demo/loaners with over 5000 miles.

This unit won't lease well, especially for 24 months.
