No 7.5K allowance on the 3-series.

BMW suspended their MSD program last year.

Doc fees aren't regulated by BMW, though CA restricts the maximum fee to $80, which naturally, every dealer charges.

Just first payment and registration costs.

You're fooling yourself into thinking you have a lower payment, when the total cost of the lease is the same.

And, if the car should be stolen or totaled during the lease, that up front cash would be lost.

You can structure the deal any way you want, with whatever amount up front. That information is just an ad, designed to suck you in to the low payment (my Jetta is costing me $226/mo - I can get a 3-series for only $13/mo more!).

Uh, no. My only out of pocket was the first payment. And, my payment includes tax and all up front fees.

You add in the $4045, the $925 and the $899 (ouch!) into the payment and it shoots to just over $400/mo. And, that's before tax.

Now, that said, $400/mo plus tax for a $45K BMW is still a pretty good payment, all things considered.

You have to think about the total outlay for the lease, not just the monthly payment.

Really this Will be my first lease.

Add the bank and dealer fees into the lease payment - that adds about $51/mo. Still just over $400/mo, before tax.

Just contact the dealer and tell them you'll put $1000 up front, and ask them for their best payment.

Subtract 4% from residual
+ subtract $0.25/mile from residual ($2000)
Remove the $3000 lease credit.

So... the price will have to be $6000+ less than a comparable 4000 mile demo, to get the lease payments to equal.

Doesn't mean it couldn't happen... but, it makes the deal a lot harder to make financial sense.

Going to dealership tomorrow to finalize a deal on the DEMO vehicle below. From the other post I know the MF should not be higher than .00152 and to only pay first month and registration fees upfront. Is there anything else I need to consider and do these numbers on the sale price look good so far? I’m also going to ask that they throw in the window tint. The mileage is about 4200.

Not all of those numbers will apply to a lease, and, there are some amounts missing.

Ask the dealer for the adjusted cap cost, and how they got there from the selling price.

Then, we'll have something to talk about.

We don't have the full set of numbers for this month.. so, can't tell about the 330e, yet.

If they have a lease program, it's the same as last month, but with a .00156 MF
