Yes... all 3-series have the same program.

Add 6% to the 36 month residual for 24 months.

If it's over 5000 miles, you have to reduce the residual by 4%, in addition to the mileage reduction.

That's going to add $63/mo.+tax to your calculation

If it's over 5000 miles, you have to reduce the residual by 4%, in addition to the mileage reduction. That's going to add $63/mo.+tax to your calculation

Hi guys, looking at a loaner bmw 2017 330e in Texas with 4950 miles

the dealer is showing me a screen that says that the base MF for the loaner since it’s a loaner is .00285 and the residual is 58% for 36months but there’s no indicator of mileage for that residual (10, 12 or 15k) which is making it sketchy, are these the posted rates to lease an used vehicle or something? Any insight?

MF: .00152 I just noticed this was at .0018. Are dealerships stubborn with this or are they fairly flexible? I have top tier credit. I'm a 5 time repeat customer too. How disappointing they're doing this..

Tax on credit 427.5 is this the taxable amount when putting something down? So if I decide to put an extra 1000 cash down, would this tax on credit amount go up by $95 (9.5% sales tax)? And does this value essentially raise the adj cap cost? Seems so counterintuitive to put anything down.

Ultimate care price is negotiable. If you only getting 3 years, 36K miles lease why would you buy UC+1.
UC +1 is a 4 year/50K mile coverage.
BTW, All UC adds is brakes and windshield vipers.
I did buy UC+ for $350 but the car (2018 340 xDrive) is for my wife and she is a very aggressive driver. $350 added less than $10 to the monthly payment and though I know it is going to be a waste I value the additional piece of mind this coverage brough.

Base MF is .00152

58% is the 36/15 residual, but that will be adjusted down by $1237.50 for the miles.

If the car has been titled, we do not have any info on the BMW CPO lease program.

So, as we see it, the max MF you should see is .00262

Only the residual is affected if the car is a demo or loaner.

Hello - I went back through the thread and I think I found some of my answers, and would like to confirm.

A loaner under 5k miles qualifies on incentives while Over 5k miles doesn't qualify for incentives - unless you purchase?

If I am planning on leasing - there are mileage and residual penalties.

I don't understand clearly how to calculate those.

Could you give me mileage/and residual penalties on a 2017 330i xdrive sportwagon demo w/6700 miles.

He hasn't shown a complete screen only partial -
36 / 12k
The MSRP is 53,995
Cap Cost is 41,728.21
MF is correct @ .00152
He's listed Drive-off @ $2500 and a payment of $499 incl. tax (9.5%)

When I run the numbers with 925 delivery / 377 license / 80 doc
- I get a drive off of $938 and payment of $468 incl tx

So I'm missing that penalty, and correct residual rate.

Over 5K miles, you can lease it, but residual is reduced by 4% + $0.25/mile, for all mileage.
Plus, you lose the new car lease credits (rebates)
If it's under 5K miles, then it's just the mileage reduction. And, you get the rebates

$925 is the acquisition fee from the bank, not "delivery".

.00152 MF and 60% residual, if new.
For this demo, 56% residual minus $1675.
52.9% residual, to simplify things.

Of course, with demos with this many miles, the dealership has received payments from BMW towards their loaner car program. That's why they can cut the price by so much. You have to look at the whole deal, and see if it makes sense.

$2500 upfront and $500/mo. for a $54K MSRP vehicle? That's not a bad deal.
But, of course, you should try to get the price down as much as possible.

Using 51.9% residual, I get $487/mo.+tax, if that number is the adjusted CAP cost.
I'm assuming it's not, though. Some of that $2500 upfront is going to CAP cost reduction, after the fees and first payment are deducted. So, the math looks pretty good.

That's true. 60% minus $1129.50
Approx 57.9% actual residual

If I add the $925 acq.fee to the sale price, I get $396/mo.+tax.
Add about $1300 tax (estimated) to the CAP and re-calculate.. I get $434/mo.
Ask them for the adjusted CAP cost, and an itemization.
Verify they are using .00152 for the money factor.

What do you get for that $999 doc fee? I love FL dealers.
The upfront tax is on the rebates/downpayment.

I'd ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and breakdown of the payment (payment + tax).

If $2100 of the $2500 is applied as a CAP reduction to the Net Price (adjusted CAP of $35795), I get a payment of $349/mo.+tax (about $370/mo.)

The money factor may be marked up.

Those numbers are correct.

RV is fixed by the bank; dealer cannot modify them.

They can mark up the MF to .00192, for extra profit.
