Just got back from the dealership and was offered the below deal on a 39/12 V6:

     MSRP- 36,400

Cap Cost- 32,600 (includes 3k in lease cash)
    Residual- 56%

    MF- .00083

Cap Cost Reduction- $750 loyalty cash

    CT tax of 6.35%

Only fees and first months payment upfront.

The only item I didn't understand was that even though it is a 39mo lease is still only get 36k miles, whereas I though it would be 39k (12k a year for 3.25 years).

    $312 a month

Please let me know what you think.

    thanks

With those numbers, I get $380/mo with tax included. Does the cap cost include the conveyance and acquisition fees?

    I would confirm the miles.
The cap cost reduction was actually $2,250 which was supposed to cover first months payment, fees and include $750 in loyalty cash. I don't believe acquisition and conveyance fees were included in the cap cost. I am starting to think they might have messed up or double counted either the 3k or 2.25k cap cost reductions. Either way I am going to assume if I can get this 39/12 for $312 a month I should sign right away?
$312/mo would be a fantastic payment for a $36k car.

Somehow, I get the feeling they won't be able to honor it, or ask for more money up front.

    Keep us posted.
So you were correct in that the first quote was either a misunderstanding or a bait and switch. I tried to convey to them that I just wanted to pay fees and 1st months payments. They some how took that to mean I would pay fees and the same exact amount as Cap cost reduction to get to approx $312 a month. Also there conveyance fee was $349 and they only gave me 2K of the 3K lease cash.

The dealership I just left gave me $2,800 of the lease cash, $750 conquest cash, and a conveyance fee of $179. So I am paying $1,399.64 out the door which includes 1st month, bank fee, registration fee and tax. They also gave me $800 more for my trade which I am not using to reduce the sales price of ~$30,500. Monthly payment of $316 on a 39/12 V6 TLX. I am happy with my deal but please let me know what you think.

That is still an awesome payment for the car. I would have rolled the bank fee into the payment as well to lower your up front costs. But, not that big a deal.

    Congrats and enjoy!

Congrats Ryan!  Enjoy the car!  Let us know your thoughts and driving impressions.  What kind of car are you coming from that you traded in?  What dealer did you end up buying at?  What color combination did you get?

The conveyance fees here in CT are such garbage.  Not as high as in FLA & GA, but still ridiculous.  I bought my current 2015 Subaru Legacy in Rye, NY.  The dealer here in Stamford had a lower selling price, but once I factored in their $349 Conveyance Fee the car was $100 cheaper to buy in Rye.

Have the March numbers come out yet? I am interested in the TLX TECH AWD MF/RV for 36/12 or 39/12. I have heard that February rates have been extended for 3 days is this correct? Thank you!
  • Do you have March MF and residual info on TLX V6 AWD, 36/10 (36, 7.5 if available) in NC and SC? Also, is 3000 lease cash still available on V6

Should mention I live in MD but would also consider buying at a dealer in Virginia if that makes any difference,

Normally, the docs will call that out - it does for Honda.

    But, it could be.

You might be able to research the following:

Program AP-F65 is the .00117 MF
Program AP-F66 is the .00103 MF

    Hello!

Please post MF and Residual for 2017 Acura TLX V4 base, for 36 months / 12k miles? This is for PA.
What is the lease cash / incentives and is there any loyalty cash?

    Thanks.

So, being new to this forum and this whole concept of leasing, I can use these numbers and plug them into the Auto Lease Calculator and should get pretty close on my payment. Is the lease cash in addition to any discount I receive negotiating?

It should be ... but, it's likely that any price quoted by the dealer already includes it.

But with no quote yet, I can negotiate pricing as if buying and then bring it up.

Is the lease cash available to buying instead of leasing?
  • wedphotogwedphotog Posts: 19
    Doubt it.

For those looking, and I can't speak for everywhere, I was informed today that Acura has added a more lease cash to TLXs in NC. It took my potential lease payment from $460 to $415 so it's not minimal. This is in addition to the $4250 already discussed above.

I heard they did too but only for the next couple days, apparently Acura needs to get ahead of clearing out a ton of TLX inventory ahead of the '18 launch at NY Auto Show. Any additional cash though kind of kills the cars resale value.
