Maybe, that wasn't a Platinum model.

The non-Platinum Inscription model has a 46% residual for 36/10.

This is for a 2018 FWD Dynamic but I did not see a forum for that. I'm getting a sell price of 30,984 on a MSRP of 39,485 with a residual of 17,768. MF quoted is .00083. With a nominal down payment of 1k or 1500 I am being quoted payments of 479 and 465 on a 39/15 lease. Seems high to me. I'm in Georgia.

$1500 Volvo Allowance
$5000 Lease Bonus

.00001 MF and 42% residual for 36/15, which should be better, but with GA taxing the full selling price, maybe amortizing the tax over more months makes up the difference. Seems doubtful, though. I'd ask them to quote 36/15.

On 39/15, I get $410/mo, if the selling price was the Adjusted CAP cost. Of course, it isn't, but that's the number we need, with acquisition and dealer fees and tax included.

36/15 is $400/mo., but of course, fewer months to amortize all of the extras.

That's with the lease program I have... Your residual is much higher, as is your money factor. I'm wondering if this is an independent bank lease?

Thanks. Didn't realize there was already 5k in lease cash on the 2018's. Getting these numbers over email so I'm finding out if I don't specify EXACTLY what I want to see I don't get it. An effort to get me back to the dealership I'm sure. Yes, Georgia isn't too kind to leases anymore.

The calculations are exact, of course.
When you ask for a payment, then you get what you get.. They gave you the $300/mo, but they jacked up the money factor and the acquisition fee, and asked you to put up $3164. So, its not really a $300 payment.
But, $12,500 off MSRP, which is $4600 off, once incentives are taken into account, seems like a good price.

With just first payment due at signing, the payment would be $380/mo.
The money factor bump adds $18/mo
The acq.fee bump adds $8/mo.

$380/mo is a good payment for a $44K MSRP vehicle. No idea if you can do better, though.

One of those incentives is a dealer incentive and the other is a consumer rebate. Can't remember which is which. Just assume that any offer from the dealer will already include those incentives, and make your offers accordingly.

These are dealer incentives, and not published.

Use the knowledge of them to negotiate your best price.

I think there was a way for them to look it up on the Volvo website. Keep in mind a lot of dealers bake that into the advertised discount, so you have to account for that and try your best to negotiate. I tried to negotiate a before incentives sale price but a lot of dealers just want to talk final sales price. So you might have to calculate in reverse. I believe the incentives for purchase is 1500 summer cash + 2000 cash, plus Costco 750, while leasing is 1500 summer case, 6400 lease case and Costco 750. There is a loyalty or conquest rebate too but not sure how much. Maybe 500 or 1000.

He's in VA and only gets $2,248 (4.8%) dealer discount before Volvo incentives, not even at invoice I think.
