Here's a pic showing the different fin styles. The car on the left is an EX1 (1958-61), on the right is the EX2 produced from '61-'64. Both styles had American style wraparound glass.
Okay, we've established that you can read, now how about model, model year or body type?
Looks like one of those "businessman's coupe" they use to sell with little doors going into the trunk.
Better late than never, I guess. Apparently you must be "of a certain age" to recall that term.
Hi Andy! Tonight I just clicked on the "view image info" for your DeSoto picture which is on a Hagerty valuation page and describes the 1946 DeSoto DeLuxe body styles as: 2dr Club Coupe 2dr Coupe 2dr Sedan 4dr Sedan
A time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing.
It's a '79 Honda Accord hatchback almost identical to the one I had. They only came in three colors, metallic blue, metallic red, and the tan. Good little cars but not very exciting to drive.

'81 was the last year for that body style. I bought a new one in '82
That is the '63 Studebaker Lark Daytona convertible on BaT we have been discussing in the Postwar Studebakers forum for the last week.
Yep, methinks the Lark V8s haven't been duly recognized as pioneers in that they had a performance V8 in a compact chassis before the Mustang or the GTO and other early "muscle cars"
Where's the patina Seriously though, the car was game changer in the US marketplace.
I'll say, my two brothers and I all owned Accords in the early 80s. Our '79s were roughly the size of a modern Honda Fit, even a current Civic is a lot gigger.
My new '82 was my daily driver until 1994. 130K miles No A/C, stick-shift... single speaker AM/FM radio. Not even a right side mirror. Paid full MSRP (asking was $1200 over.. lol)
I only sold because of carb problems... that and it was pretty rusty and interior was coming apart. Survived a small deer collision, at one time. Traded it on a different used car at a dealer and received $300.
I'd had bad experiences with Fiats and Triumphs having rust problems so when I got the Accord, I got it rustproofed via Ziebart. We kept that '79 Accord for 12 years and had only little bit of rust in the rear hatch area and around the edges of the aftermarket sunroof.
We forget how rustproofed modern cars have become.
I had an '85 Accord Hatch, burgundy with louvers on the rear window. Bought it used with 16,000 miles on it for something like $8500.
Kept it for 3+ years and about 40,000 miles - including a cross country trip from CA to MI and back. Loved that car, but traded it in on an Isuzu Trooper as we started a family.
I test drove one when I was getting out of college. Probably an 84. Really liked it, but too pricey at the time. Ended up with a colt. Should have scraped up the extra money.
Was helping a friend look at cars in '82, he like the Accord, but the dealer wouldn't budge on the ADM ("I'll sell it to the next guy that walks in the door"), so he got a Subaru. Raspy little car. I thought the opposed 4 should have been smoother.
Yeah, I put Momo Alloys on mine, along with Hella Fog lights. I was trying to make it look sporty but it really was one of the least sporty cars I've owned.
The 60's took the basic shapes of the '59 Buicks and rounded the edges of the swoopy shapes which was IMO an improvement. The red 'vert shown is a 1960 Buick Invicta.
I don't know why Buick doesn't recycle nice names like Invicta, Electra and Riviera. Their current nomenclature with all the En-somethings is pretty uninspired.
Ford engaged in this same "first letter" nonsense (F for cars and E for suv's at Ford and nonsense letter number combo's over at Lincoln). I really think the average person better remembers a neat word and doesn't really care what other cars from the company are named. As for Buick, I still think Invicta is a pretty good model name because it is unusual enough to stand out without being too out there whacko. .

Should give them some credit for not yet surrendering to the random numbers and letters schema.

You're a little off, it's a 1970 Saab 95, basically a wagon-back version of their 96 sedan. I don't think Saab's marketing ever applied any particular terminology to denote that it was a wagon but all 95s were wagons. Wikipedia credits the 95 with seating for seven but that's a stretch, perhaps you could fit two adults in front, three kids in the middle and two more kids in the rearward facing rear seat. Just the thing for thrifty Irish Catholic and Mormon families!
'Cording to Wikipedia pre-1967 Saab 95s were based on the Saab 93 and used the same DKW-derived 3 cyl. 2-strokers. After that they used the same Ford Taunus V4 as the Saab 96s they were based on.

What I wanted to do with mine was to get some gold lace alloy wheels - I thought that would have looked sharp.
