Thought i'd contribute to the forum and not just mooch.
I'm looking at Lexus ES 36/10 lease. I was told money factor is 0.0002 and RV of 55% with lease cash of $4000 for the new July deals.

I'm looking to get into a Lexus ES 350 with premium package with wood steering wheel and trim, ventilated seats. looks like msrp will be around $43000. Any one with experience with this type of package to guide me on negotiations. I'm shooting to get as close as possible to 400mo payment with 0 down.

We don't have the July program information for Lexus.

The MF looks to be the same as last month, and the dealer can't modify the residual.

Negotiate your best price before applying the $4000 lease cash.

I would think you should be able to easily hit your target depending on your location and market. We are in SoCal with many Lexus dealers and lots of competition so great discounts are easy to find. Our deal last Aug was 425 incl 8% tax, 36/10, $1k at signing, .00085 MF, and about $9k off msrp of 47,015 (3500 lease cash included).

I am looking to lease ES350 in south Florida and understand there is $4,000 lease cash available and the MF is .0002 . Would anyone know the RV for 36/12 and 36/10. I am looking at the luxury/premium package with MSRP ranging $42,500 to $42,800 varied by color. Any ideas of how much of a discount might be negotiated off MSRP? Other than acquisition fee of $700; what document fees / registration title fees are customary? Thanks in advance for your assistance.

    52%/53% residual
The advertised deals assume a dealer discount of about 4.5-5% of MSRP, in addition to the $4000. You should try to do better than that.

The LFS acquisition fee is now $795.

FL has about $200-$300 in DMV fees. Florida dealers are notorious for ridiculous dealer/doc fees. Don't be surprised to see $700-$1000. Ask about that fee before starting negotiations, and account for it by offering a lower price.

I'm not sure you'll be able to get a lux pkg at that msrp. Our 2016 we leased last Aug had an msrp of 47,015. We got $9k discount off msrp incl the $3500 lease cash that was in effect at that time. ES deals are getting really good - good luck!

@gmanusmc Maybe I'm confusing the terminology of luxury package. I'm looking at MSRP on dealership website here in South Florida of $42,879 with the following options added:
    Heated & Ventilated Front Seats
Blind Spot Monitor w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Front & Rear Intuitive Parking Assist
3 Spoke Leather & Wood Steering Wheel
Maybe this is called the premium package? What does the luxury package give you in addition? It looks like they gave you almost 12% off MSRP prior to the $3,500 lease cash. Did that take much haggling?

Here are the various packages for the ES:

    http://www.lexus.com/models/ES/packages

We also have navigation and pano roof so that increased the sticker a bit.

We sent out emails starting in July requesting quotes - narrowed it down to 3-4 dealers who seemed serious and was able to come to terms the first week of August - a little back and forth but not all that much. The money factor wasn't as good as it is right now but our payment is $423 incl 7.75% tax, 36/10k, $1k due at signing.

Thanks for sharing! I guess it's the luxury package I'm looking at 2017 ES350 MSRP on dealership website here in South Florida of $42,879 with the following options added:
    Heated & Ventilated Front Seats
Blind Spot Monitor w/Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Front & Rear Intuitive Parking Assist

My research shows RV is 52% on a 36/12k lease; MF = .0002 ; License/Registration = $300 ; Doc Fees = $700 (rip-off in Florida!) ; $4,000 lease cash rebate; Edmunds Shows TMV on Vehicle approx. $38,724 in my zip code. Hoping to negotiate down to $38,000. From these numbers I come up with drive off $1422 (includes first month + $1k Registration & Doc Fees) with $358/mo + tax = $380/mo. Disposition Fee; $350. I think I'm calculating this correctly. Is this do able now? Thanks for any input.

If I use $34K as the cap cost, I get $336/mo before tax.

What number are you using to get the $358/mo pre-tax payment?

I like your numbers better! I used the calculator here: https://leasehackr.com/calculator and loaded in the numbers that I have, The drive off comes out to $1,419 broken down as:
First month's payment incl. tax: $377
    Down payment: $0
    Total MSD payment: $0
    Registration and doc fee: $1,000
Tax on cap cost reduction and fees: $42
In any event this should be doable, correct?

Can't tell you what, if any, assumptions, on-line lease calculators make.

@Michael I just calculated by hand using $34K as captitalized cost and came up with the same $336.34 pre-tax as you do. So much for on-line calculator! I know that there is a Takata rebate available for those affected by airbag recall which I was. I just had that airbag replaced under recall but keeping that vehicle. Wondering if I can obtain & apply that to reduce capital cost further?

    $429/mo.+tax for 36/10.

I didn't account for taxes on the rebates, as you didn't mention state or tax rate, but that's probably not far off.

2017 ES350 with Premium Package MSRP: $42,899 just received this offer:

    On a MSRP of $42,899:
Your price: $38,497.00 + $799 dealer fee, tax and tag.
    Out the door: $42,411.00.
In addition there's $3,000 Lexus cash OR 0.9% up to 60 months financing available.

Asked about Lexus Loyalty Money and/or Takata Airbag Money; was given this response:
Whatever is available to you. As for the tag, I estimate only, my finance dept. calculates that online thru DMV for you.
Since there is additional $3k Lexus or financing offered; I am hoping the $4k Lexus Lease cash in Florida can be applied.

Does anyone know the RV and MF for 36 month/12k miles per year and 39 month/12k miles per year? Is the MF 0.0002 in Florida with Tier 1 credit?

    Thoughts?
    Thanks in advance

Thank you. This is for NJ so I think we are pretty close. Is the sale price reasonable considering the MSRP? Also, this may be a silly question, but do dealers let us remove the 'accessory package' from the vehicle? I have all of the accessories (cargo nets, etc.) already.

Adding the doc fee to the sale price, your discount is about 7.5% of MSRP.
If there is anywhere to lower the payment, it's the sale price of the vehicle.
You can tell them you don't want to pay for accessories you don't need, but it will probably cost them more to remove them than they are actually worth.

Thanks for all the feedback on this. Based on this build, the invoice price comes out to be 43,741 (Edmunds numbers). Less the hold back (2% off base MSRP of 38,900) comes out to be 42,963 (negating the lease cash and loyalty rebate as that should just be a straight transfer to me) which is the theoretical dealer cost. If the sale price (42,922) is below the dealer cost (42,963) then where exactly is the dealer making any money?

    $429/mo.+tax for 36/10.

I didn't account for taxes on the rebates, as you didn't mention state or tax rate, but that's probably not far off.

I wouldn't worry about the dealer; they wouldn't present or accept a deal where they aren't making any money, somewhere.

Could be a volume bonus they qualify for; could be a dozen other places where they are making money. We'll never know the true 'dealer cost'. If you're comfortable with the selling price and all the numbers work out, no reason not to pull the trigger.

Did they give you the adjusted CAP cost?
Adding the three fees, then deducting the CAP cost reduction gives me $37,964
Using that as the adjusted CAP cost, I get $423/mo.+tax

But, I'm guessing a little bit about how those amounts are calculated.
    I used .00020 MF and 51% residual.

I just signed the deal today.

    MSRP 45438
    36 month, 10k/year
    Gross Cap Cost : 40.299,85
    lease payment 430,38+tax. ( 0 down payment )

It was 410+tax, but my wife was convinced about Lexus wear&tear, so added extra 20.
Just 1 dealer accepted my target price, so I closed deal tonight.

Hi! Could you please tell me if this sounds about right:
    MSRP $44980
    Sale price $40033
    Lease cash $4000
    New graduate discount $1000
I'm upside down $2600 on the lease of the car I'm trading in so that is added on.
They quoted me $522 including tax for 36mo/10k.
    I'm in San Diego.

    Thanks!

Is the lease cash part of the selling price?

Better yet, ask the dealer what the adjusted cap cost they use to get the $522/mo quote, including the negative equity.

Why are you trading out of your lease early?

The lease cash and graduate discount are not included in that $40033 sale price. I'm tired of the car I have and it needs work - new windshield, break pads, tires etc - and registration renewal is coming up, so decided would rather trade in now.
I don't think they were giving me .00020 MF, I think it was closer to .0008 and they said that was tier 1. Will have to check tomorrow.

Let us know what you learn.

$2600 is about $70-75/mo added to your payment.

What fees are there in leasing? Acquisition 795, registration, and what else? 9% tax living in pa suburb?

PA lease tax is +3% over your local rate.

You might see dealer/doc fees in addition to the fees you mentioned.
