The sale price is about 19% off msrp (including the $4k lease cash) - that's a pretty good discount. They are showing 50% residual on their quote sheet. If you're using 53%, that's probably why you're calculating about 398. The money factor should be .00001 so they might be marking it up a little. With a decent credit score, you should be able to get the better money factor. Are you working with multiple dealers to get them competing for your business? I think it's possible to get this to the 415-425 range depending on available inventory.
He said residual is lowered to 50% this month. Is this true?
Please advice the MF and residual for ES350 in South Florida 33133, 36/12k. From previous post, incentive for September is $4000 lease cash. Please advice if I understand correctly. Thanks. (I see people are getting 4000+ off MSRP before the lease cash, thats pretty good deal) Lexus joke, true story, I used to own one, excellent car...."How do you like the Lexus service department?"..."No idea, the car never needed service" (I changed oil elsewhere)

Thanks for the advice. is that a good deal on the lease Michaell? .00001 / 49% with 5k cash. I am in 80831 (Colorado) and I think it should be a similar deal on the ES350/300h. Would this be good candidate for buyout at the end?

The lease program is not the deal. To get a good deal, you have to negotiate a big dealer discount, in addition to the incentive.
A low residual makes it more likely to be a good candidate for buyout at lease end, but no guarantee.

Thank you Kyfdx. I am in a situation where they sold me a messed up CPO that they basically went thru to have properly certified in the 7 months after I've bought the car. Ive been in a loaner for at least half of the time.
I asked them to take it back and they're treating it like a regular trade in leaving me in thousands in the negative. On top of that, the lease deal they've currently have on the table in replacement is MSRP $45837, with $8106 discount + rebate all combined (net $37,731). with somewhat of a ridiculous MF based on what other postings, of .0001.
With the trade in value they're trying to put, of $3225, they quoted 36/10000 at $508.61 a month.
Now is this a deal to run away from or what can I push for within reasonable measures? If all fails, I'm thinking of working with a case manager from Lexus corp now.

Going from .00001 to .00010 only adds about $8/mo. to the lease payment.
Is $3225 the negative equity in your current vehicle?

that's a whole different story, but no, that is a positive equity. I just don't get how the Lexus corp is advertising $4000 at sign, and $299 a month for $40k MSRP, but this deal roughly at about $3000 more becomes over $500 a month.

Given the numbers above, $425/mo.+tax, with fees and first payment due at signing. ($1800 or so). Using the equity for the due at signing amount, and using the rest of it as a CAP reduction, I get $386/mo.+tax. .00010 MF raises that to $391/mo.+tax
They came back with a new number kinda close to yours, but still seem a bit high. they even said they now have a correct base MF rate of 0.00001., and I am applying the entire trade to the cap cost. Here are the details MSRP: 45837 savings: 2106 cap cost: 43731 sales tax: 1136.76 dealer state fees: 507.15 Total price: 45374.91 Net trade: 3225 Rebate: 5000 Net Residual: 22460.13 for $444.20
On a 36/10k.
Does this seem fair?
Meanwhile, another dealer is offering Total Rebates : $5000.00 MSRP : $48333 Upfront Price : $45684 Term : 36 Customer Cash : $3500.00 Residual % : 49.00 Tax : $845.28
For $493.05 a month, same terms.
The 2nd dealer does not know of the trade. And I am not sure what they mean by that customer cash. Is that supposed to be a down payment? If I apply the 3225 trade on the 2nd dealer, which would come out better? any of these worth it at all?

If I add $795 acquisition fee and $444 first payment to the CAP cost, I get the same $444/mo. with $0 due at signing.
On the second deal, there is no $3500 customer cash, as it's a lease and you get the $5000 rebate, instead. Since they haven't figured in the $3225, and they are probably asking for $493 as the first payment, I'd say that payment is about $30/mo. better than the first one. Of course, that is dependent on them giving you the same $3225 equity in your vehicle as the first dealer.

ah, so they had it show up but when you did the calculations, that $3500 cash was NOT included? I really appreciate your help. I recently got screwed over with a Lexus CPO and looking at alternatives...

If I subtract the rebate and add the fees to the selling price, I get $541/mo plus tax. What is the tax rate?
Looks pretty close, though that doc fee is pretty ugly.
