The discount is good, the money factor is the base number.
The calculations are correct.

But, not a cheap car to lease, given you are providing $5000 upfront.
WA has a high tax rate, but nothing you can do about that.

Right, but that $5K would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled during the lease. And, it doesn't change the overall cost of the lease.

Can't make the decision for you... It's a good lease price for this particular vehicle, given the lease program you have to work with.

I want to understand why it does not change overall cost of the lease ? If i pay more down payment I reduce the amount I am borrowing for lease so I have to pay less interest. Is it correct or am I missing something ?

The MF is fairly low, so you are not saving that much money on the rent charge.

Weigh that against the risk of losing all the up front money if something terrible happens to the car during the lease.

The only two variables in a lease are the selling price and the money factor. If you are getting the base MF, then nothing left to negotiate.

For the selling price, we suggest 6% off MSRP, less any available incentives.

Thanks. Premium Plus is a better lease but some of the features I wanted were not even an option in Premium Plus. What about the selling price? Do you think there is room to get mor discount?

That's a big financial decision to make without all the relevant information.

You don't want to negotiate the payment on a lease; you want to negotiate the price, just like if you were buying the car. Too much opportunity for the dealer to slip things into that payment that shouldn't be there.

Would need to know the selling price to calculate a payment. Target 6% off MSRP, before incentives.

And, $0 down is not the same as $0 due at signing. You should pay the first payment and DMV costs when you sign the paperwork.

To get that payment, the cap cost would have to be around $35,500. Adding the tax and acquisition fee to the selling price gets us to $35,265. Pretty close.

Killer deal? Yes indeed.
