    .00018 and 52% $2500 lease credit

Thabks. Is this through Audi AFS?  I had a dealer quote me .0024 on 12k/36 mo lease on A4 Premium Plus Quattro.  Residual was the same.

Can you give more color on the $2500 lease credit? Saw this mentioned in previous posts. When does this expire and is it applicable to all A4 models?
It's a customer rebate from Audi. Applied as a CAP cost reduction.
Good through 07/31, along with the rest of the lease program.

.00240? That can't be correct. Unless your credit is really, really bad.

Run away. Quickly. Find another dealer. They must think you're some sort of Silicon Valley bajillionaire, with money to burn.

Is the $42,600 already taken into account the $2500 & 1st payment lease cash? Monthly payment should be $500+ if so.

No. 42,600 is just the selling px - lease cash is part of lease calc after adding in the fees and tax.

damn that's really good. I'm only getting around 4,000 off msrp before rebates and loyalty. Thinking maybe I should try my luck at a jersey dealership. May I ask which one did you close that deal at?

Going to finalize my lease on an ordered A4 soon. Can I have the numbers and incentives for 2018 A4 prestige Quattro 10K/36 for 53711? Is loyalty still available?  I managed to get 9% off MSRP before incentives couple of months back when I ordered. I’ve seen others are getting close to 14% discounts before incentives for dealer inventories. Should I ask more considering the lease is for an ordered car in a non competitive market and not for one already sitting on the lot for couple of months? Thanks

Is your 9% off price in writing?

If so, you may have to stick to it. How would you feel if you had a negotiated price, in writing, and when the car arrived the dealer wanted to renegotiate to a higher price?

If it's not in writing, then all bets are off.

What do you mean if its in writing? If I haven't signed any papers, how much leeway do I have to negotiate?

Deal received from dealer on an A4 Premium Plus Quattro (tech pkg, nav) today:

    36mo/10K
    MSRP 48,9990
    Sales: 40,591
    RV: 54%
    MF: 0.00058
    Due at signing: $700
Monthly Payment: $505 (Audi covers first payment under Summer of Audi special)

    A few questions:

    1. Summer of Audi must have diff MF/RVs? Thought it was 0.00018/53%? The 54% is nice but still more expensive.

    2. I keep getting a $485 monthly number when plugging into standard lease models. What am I missing?

    3. Is this a good deal? 40,591 seems to be really damn good for a Premium Plus Quattro

your MF is inflated. Try to get base which is .00018, residual will be the same for all audi dealerships and does not change.

If you ordered a car, and agreed on a price, I doubt they'll renegotiate your deal. But, you can always try.

Tech/Nav package has 1% higher residual
Money factor is marked up from .00018
$2500 lease bonus (likely included in your sale price.. rebates are also taxable)
You need the adjusted CAP cost with tax and acquisition fee, dealer fees, etc, etc... to be able to calculate the lease payment.
The money factor markup adds about $30/mo.

Thanks for the reply. Yes. It is in writing as well as April’s 0.00059 and 52% residual. I guess they can not use those numbers and need to use 49% and 0.00018? Good thing is lower MF will offset the drop in residual. Is $1000 loyalty still there and would I qualify for both loyalty and complimentary first month payment?

I'm not certain if Audi lets you choose which program you can use - if you use the current program, then you qualify for the complimentary first month payment incentive.

I think I was missing acquisition fee, which is around $1000. I asked multiple times why the MF is not .00018 to the sales manager and he said that he gets a sheet from Audi and that's what it is and varies based on region (I'm in TN). This is the same with an A4 ultra Premium FWD as well where the MF should be 0.00035 but they quoted me 0.00075. How should I go about this? Is what they offered a good deal nevertheless?

Most Audi dealers will attempt to markup the money factor. I'm not sure it's time-specific.
"Thanks for your time, I only sign leases with the base rate", then hit the bricks for the next dealer.

This is the same with an A4 ultra Premium FWD as well where the MF should be 0.00035 but they quoted me 0.00075. How should I go about this? Is what they offered a good deal nevertheless?
The money factor is marked up... period. If a dealership wants to markup the rate, that's fine, but I don't like them lying about it.
Acquisition fee is $895. Also, period.. lol

In GA and TN, there is also likely a big dealer fee.. Ask for the adjusted CAP cost.

Tech/Nav package has 1% higher residual
Money factor is marked up from .00018
$2500 lease bonus (likely included in your sale price.. rebates are also taxable)
You need the adjusted CAP cost with tax and acquisition fee, dealer fees, etc, etc... to be able to calculate the lease payment.
The money factor markup adds about $30/mo.

I think I was missing acquisition fee, which is around $1000. Initial Cap: $44,000

    Acq Fee: $895
    Doc Fee: $589
    Adj Cap: $42,000
Monthly Payment: $500 (Audi covers first one)
    Due @ Signing: $700

To be fair the sale manager did say MF is marked up after further explanation and back and forth. Closing on deal and taking delivery on Sunday. $500/mo a bit more than what I had in mind but numbers good enough for me to close.

When you live in middle TN, no real luxury of 'shopping around' unless you are truly willing to drive 200+ miles to get a car (Memphis, Huntsville, Knoxville, Atlanta all 200+ miles away)

I'd be interested to see what the MFs are for these dealerships though.

@kyfdx - I am working on a lease on a P+ for 36 months/10k miles. Initial offer was the ffollowing:

MSRP: about $49,675 (includes cold weather package, telematics, premium plus package, audi beams, weather mats and dark interior wood).
    Selling Price: $42,800
Rebates: $2900 (includes $2500 lease credit + complimentary first month payment of $400)
    RV: 53%
MF: was not provided, but from my calculations, it did not appear marked up (Sales guy did not know).

The current offer on the table is $399 month (need to clarify whether it includes MA taxes). NO money down. $2500 due at signing, but after adding doc fees ($459), acquisition fee ($895), title and registration fees ($170), I cannot account for more than $900. I have emailed the dealer. Hoping they can say whether it is for cap reduction or for another fee?

Can you run your numbers based on the info I have provided? I hope some don't feel I am nickel and diming, but I was thinking about getting Audi care.

I know you do not track pricing, but realistically, since month's end is approaching, can I shave off $800, bringing the selling price to $42k? I have not yet asked, but that could be a deal breaker for me.
    Your feedback is appreciated.

@kyfdx - I just heard back from the dealer. Here are some additional info:
    1. The $399/month does include taxes.
    2. The "missing" $900+ is used towards cap reduction (That is fine with me).
    3. Audicare is $869 and he confirmed it raises the residual by 1%
If you subtract the 1st payment rebate, then you have to add the first payment to your $2500 upfront. You'll also have upfront tax on the rebates. Given all that, it looks like $399/mo. is about right. No money factor markup. That's a huge discount, pre-rebate. You never know, but I'd be surprised if you can shave any more off. It's a very aggressive deal for an Audi. Adding AudiCare only adds $11/mo. to the lease... it would be crazy not to do that. Asking them to throw that in only costs them about $400.. you could try that, and you'd still be at $399/mo.
Thanks again for all your help on this deal. You are right about Audicare. Dealer just confirmed monthly payment with Audicare is $411 (an extra $12/month - You were close). I am trying to see if I can wrap up this deal before month's end. The only other variable is my trade for 2013 Accord. I plan to get a check for it. As long as the dealer does not low ball me on it, then we might be closer to a deal. I will post back once I have an update.
I wrapped up this deal today. It was a very pleasant experience overall. Final payment was $411.07 (including 6.25% MA sales tax and Audicare at $859). $2500 was due at signing. I declined all extended warranties or protection plans, but I purchased a premium shield film for the front of the car. MSRP was $895. Dealer had a 10% off coupon, so sale price would have been about $800 but finance guy messed up and only charged me $700.

I started seriously researching this car and pricing about 4 months ago. I used to email this dealership a couple of times a month for lease pricing. I used the info provided by @kyfdx and @Michaell to compare with info provided by the dealership. Fast forward to today. I could not have passed up this deal. Let me explain (will try and be short).

I have owned a 2013 Honda Accord EX-L sedan for the past five years. Upon hearing of the release of the 2018 Accord, I was excited but then quickly disappointed by the design and some features. Anyway, I wanted my next car to be all wheel drive but not an SUV. I was looking for a sporty luxury sedan that fit that mold. I was close to leasing an '18 TLX A-spec V6 SH-AWD Red not long ago, but Acura dealer was not honest with incentives. Anyway, I am extremely happy with this deal. Dealer offered me $12k for my trade right off the bat. Decided to not negotiate and took it. Will be picking up my check as soon as I receice my title from the RMV.

I plan to pick up my car some time next week, but not sure when exactly.

Deal was at Audi of Burlington. If you want a similar deal, you will have to move fast since the end of month is fast approaching. There are less than 10 A4 Premium Plus with navigation & telematics, premium plus package, cold weather package, Audi beam rings, and the floor mats. Message me and I will share the name of the sales people I worked with. You might not get the same exact deal, but you will probably get at least 13% off MSRP before rebates and first month complimentary payment.

Good luck to all the folks looking to lease an A4. The service already at the dealership has been top notch, compared to Honda. This Audi dealership even has free ice cream. My kids loved it. My wife took out an A4 for a test drive and she gets it why I had to take this deal and run.

I was also seriously considering purchasing or leasing the upcoming 2019 VW Arteon. It has not yet been released, although it is slated for a Q3 release. MSRP has also not yet been announced. A4 was a no brainer. One other thing finance guy mentioned was that if I decided to purchase the car at the end of the lease, Audicare will cover up to 50k miles (so 2 free oil changes after 30k service).

Hopefully I can explain myself. First possible lease for me. I'm located in Massachusetts. My trade is a 2017 VW GTI S. Only has 4500 miles. I owe $18600 on it. Retail is probably no more than $20k. To make a long story short, I feel too juvenile in this car for my age, and more importantly, I would like to have some luxury features.

Today, I finally had some free time to go to the dealer but I didn't have high hopes, I figured I might be aiming to high. I went in looking for a low mileage lease (7500). I drive my truck a fair amount so I'm not worried about going over on miles. The dealer had a 2018 Audi A4 2.0T Summer of Audi Premium model with a 6 speed manual (which I prefer). Would love a cold weather package, but not needed. It at least has heated seats. The sticker on the car is $45,550, comes with an 18" tire package, Audi beam rings and Audi guard protection kit.

They came right out with $2000 down. A payment of $581 all in with taxes, they payoff my car, etc. My current monthly on a loan for the GTI is $355. So I was way off my goal.

After going back and forth, their last off was still me coming up with the $2000 down, but my monthly payment was $400 even with taxes figured in and them paying my first payment. The $2000 is something for sure. But I get a lot more car for $45 a month more. My question is...is this a fair deal or could I do better?

Can you clarify when you said they pay off your car? How many months are left on thr GTI loan at $355 per month? The moderators are foing to need more info to evaluate your deal, such as:

    1. Sale price of the car before rebates. Ask if they did not say.
    2. Did they mention the $2500 lease incentive?
    3. Are the terms 3 years/7.5k miles?
    4. What is the RV and MF they are using? If you do not know, ask.
    5. Dealer doc fees and other fees? Acquisition is $895.
    6. What is the amount due at signing? You should normally cover first payment, and all fees.

Without any of this info, it will be hard to provide any feedback.

    Btw, saw your PM. Responded.

I was hoping based on payment and msrp they could back into what I'm saying to at least say it's good or not. As for my car. It was a purchase with 65 payments $355 a month. I have 58 payments left and my payoff is $18600. I'm trading that car in and they are paying it off. To me the trade is a net of zero. I've been offered. 15,500 and 18,000 even at other dealers. These were different deals on used BMW's though.

    To answer your questions:
    1) I'll call tomorrow and find out.
    2) Nothing mentioned other than they fact they are giving me more for my trade and selling the car with all rebates includes.
    3) Yes 3 years/7.5k. With them paying the first payment. So only 35 payments remain.
    4) Need to find out. I did ask residual and he said 55%.
    5) All fees and monies due at closing are included in the $2000 down.
    6). See #5.

    Here is my paperwork.
    Actual sale price: $42,667.47
    RV (54% of MSRP): $26,824.50
    Rebates: $2500 lease credit + $411.07 (first payment) = $2911.07
    Amount due at signing (shows $705 for the premium shield which I paid for)= $2500 + 705 = $3205
Monthly before taxes = $386.89 (with Audicare)
Monthly payment after taxes (with Audicare) = $411.07
Terms are 36 months/10k miles per year

Cold weather, Nav, Premium Plus Packages
    10k miles, 36 months
    No Downpayment
All fees, taxes and costs rolled in
ONLY first month of $475 due at signing
    $475 per month

I own my GTI.  Yes, the dealer did come down $181.  It doesn't bother me that the dealer tried to get me for an extra $6,500. What dealer starts with their best deal right off the bat? I find myself a smart enough buyer so no or at least feel like I am getting a good deal. I was hoping someone could validate the current deal as it stands to see if it is good.

What dealer ever starts at their best offer? In my experience (all purchases not leases before this) there are none.

Here are the numbers from my dealer.  Msrp 45,550. Cash at closing is $2000. It covers my first payment as well   My cash price is 40,400.  With desitination and doc fee 41,690. They gave me 19000 even on my trade (better than I expected).  My residual is 25,052.  (55%).  My MF is .00048.  My monthly payment with taxes is $398.49.
