I own my GTI.  Yes, the dealer did come down $181.  It doesn't bother me that the dealer tried to get me for an extra $6,500. What dealer starts with their best deal right off the bat? I find myself a smart enough buyer so no or at least feel like I am getting a good deal. I was hoping someone could validate the current deal as it stands to see if it is good.

What dealer ever starts at their best offer? In my experience (all purchases not leases before this) there are none.  

Here are the numbers from my dealer.  Msrp 45,550. Cash at closing is $2000. It covers my first payment as well   My cash price is 40,400.  With desitination and doc fee 41,690. They gave me 19000 even on my trade (better than I expected).  My residual is 25,052.  (55%).  My MF is .00048.  My monthly payment with taxes is $398.49.    

I wouldn't compare lease payment to finance payment to judge how much more car you are getting for the money.

But, if you are happy with the value given for your GTI (and, that looks good to me), then the lease deal is a good one.

I remain mystified by low residuals for Prestige. A P+ that can be optioned VERY close the the Prestige, the difference is in options anyway. It is not like the Prestige has a different engine (which would justify the lower residual).

It is almost as if Audi does not want to lease the Prestige at all!

Does anyone have an idea whether $2500 lease cash will still be good for next month? I haven't closed a deal on my A4 but am awaiting shipment of the car which is a "summer of audi" car and I was wondering if delayed shipment would affect price and lease of the car.

Drive offs usually include fees such as dealer doc fees, acquisition fees, dmv fees and registration fees. However, from your screenshot, the Vehicle Total price includes the doc and acquisition fees ($40,400 + $895 + $395 = $41,690).
The cap cost listed includes the Vehicle Total price plus the DMV fees ($135) = $41,825.

No, $2000 covers all monies due at signing. No additional driveoffs are due. I hand them a check for $2k. They take my GTI keys, I grab the A4 keys and drive away with a payment of $398 (taxes included). No money down, I was told would be just under $450 with taxes.

The drive-off amount is your money upfront, plus any rebates or trade equity.

It’s a Premium Plus w/Tech Nav value pack; cold weather and wood inlays. Lease price is $475 w/only 1st month payment of $475 paid upfront. All fees, taxes, etc are in the payment.

No worries. Well done. I also picked mine up today. It was a sweet ride driving home. I am already thinking about my next Audi (the A5 sportback) when my lease is up.

Question for the group: tomorrow is Aug 1, does that mean all MF, residual and rebates will change? Is it typically harder to get a good deal at the beginning of the month as the dealer was likely trying to get to a quota by month-end and now has a fresh month to work with?

I've been told that -6% from MSRP for a new 2018 S3.

But, I've seen -8% from MSRP for an A4 on this forum.
Which is correct?

I've been offered invoice for either an S3 or A4.
With the A4 there is $2500 lease incentive.
Also, I believe there is also a $1000 incentive for "loyalty" or "conquest", meaning, if the customer currently has a competing brand, such as a BMW, MB, Lexus, etc., then there is an additional $1000.

Can you please give me definitive information on invoice from MSRP for an A4 quattro Prem.+

I'm considering a 36/10K lease, Chicago area.

We don't track pricing; feel free to read back through the posts to see what others have been able to negotiate.

We have maintained that 6% off MSRP, plus incentives, is a good price for an Audi. We've seen better discounts, but can't tell you why the dealer decided to go lower on that particular deal.

$2500 lease cash is correct, as is the $1000 loyalty. I do not see a conquest incentive, however.
