It's interesting that with the big difference in RV for the A3 vs A4, you can get more car (A4) for not much difference in payment...assuming the discount off MSRP were equal.

No. Its manufacturer money given straight to the dealership to help sell cars. Its not advertised. You can get this on top of any discount you negotiate off MSRP.

Audi dealers will just laugh in your face if you ask for that much off on a 2019 model. If you are looking for the best deal, go with the 2018 model.
