Thanks. I was thinking closer to 10% off MSRP or else I am going to get the Honda. German "luxury" cars depreciate badly, especially now with consumers rotating into crossovers so predominantly. I don't understand why people are paying so much for these cars still.

Prestige residual is only 52%.
.00075 is the base residual. Was it .00025 after the MSDs? (looks that way).

With that adjusted CAP, I get $505/mo.+tax. That's about $15/mo. more than your quote.

The deal looks good, but that deal is for a Premium Plus trim.

2. I asked for 58% but was told that it will only be 56% for prestige (36/10k) (see the quoted question below and answer by Michaell on this forum)

I picked up my A4 Prestige last week, the residual is 56% at 29.6K, monthly is 520 incl. MA tax, downpayment 0, but I put in MSDs worth 5750. The dealer is in NH, if that would explain why I got 56% residual ?. Not sure.

I picked up my A4 Prestige last week, the residual is 56% at 29.6K, monthly is 520 incl. MA tax, downpayment 0, but I put in MSDs worth 5750. The dealer is in NH, if that would explain why I got 56% residual ?. Not sure.

Residuals are fixed by the bank and are national.

I asked the dealer for the adjusted cap cost and how they got there from the selling price. This is what he sent back. Sorry, this is my first lease, but it doesn't seem like he actually put the adjusted cap cost on here.

Florida taxes the monthly payment - the tax amount is irrelevant to a lease
Still no reference to the $895 AFS acquisition fee

If you're in the holiday spirit, give him one more chance to get it right .. if not, move on to another dealer.
