    YES, there is profit in a money factor bump.

    The bank pays the dealer the difference in payment, discounted slightly, to account for the time value of money (the dealer gets the money upfront, while the bank collects it over the life of the lease). On a typical deal, the dealer will net about 70% of the payment difference, upfront.

    How do you handle it? Tell the dealer you won't do the deal with a marked up money factor. "I want the buy rate!"

    On 2018 F-Pace models, for a 36/10 Lease or 24/10 Lease...which model has the highest residual? 

    Is there a big difference between 25 R Sport and 35 R Sport Residuals?

    24 month terms aren't good at all.

    For 36/10, the residuals only vary between 51%-54%.
    No difference on the two models. Both are 52%.

    Dealer told me the following:

    MF: 0.00015
    Residual: 51%

    MSRP: $50358
    Selling Price: $42080

    Is the MF base? or marked up.

    In Florida

    $0 down. Just the usually due at signing stuff.


    They are stating $576/month. My calculation is $495 . Did I do something wrong?

    I confirm .00015 and 51% for 25t Premium.

    Ask the dealer what cap cost they are using for their payment quote. If not the selling price, what did they add?
