Subtract the residual from the adjusted CAP cost and divide by lease term, and that will give you the depreciation portion of the lease payment. You still have to calculate the finance portion of the lease payment. But, if you get the base money factor, then that will be minimal.

Is that for the f pace?  Best we got for the E pace was $674 a month. $0 down sign n drive. .00026 money factor and 58% residual. $54,811 msrp. Sale price $51,800.  Does $674 sound like a good price or can they do better?

Are most dealers accepting as cap cost 3% over Total Dealer cost?  Factory Invoice with Options LESS all rebates/incentives/holdbacks PLUS 3%?

MF and RV tend to track in the same direction - either both are high, or both are low.

Just curious, what's the max the dealer can raise the mf? Went in to one dealership to look at a 30t R-Sport and they were trying to use .0010 as the mf and even though I asked if that was the base mf, they wouldn't budge. Thanks to this forum, I knew better but that was the worse quote I've ever had. On top of that, they only took 5k off the msrp and wanted a monthly payment of over 1k for a high 60k msrp f-pace! Ran away as fast as I could.

We often see markups of .00100 on Jaguar leases; not certain what the max is, but it may be .00125.

You were right to walk away.

Hi - here is what I received back from Finance on a deal I'm working on a F-Pace 25T Premium in California. I negotiated 3,500 off MSRP, and asked for a money factor of .00001 on 36 mo. 15k/yr. lease based on the info from this forum.

Some questions:
1) is it normal to add the bank fee/acquisition cost back to the cap cost?
2) the 'rental fee' appears to calculate to a interest rate of 2.4% (monthly rental/monthly depreciation or 14.43/605.56, but shouldn't a MF of .00001 translate for an interest rate of 0.24%?
3) Anything else look off?

1) Yes, otherwise, you pay it upfront
2) .00001 = .024% APR. They've marked up the rate to .00021. (= 0.50% APR)
The markup adds $13.75/mo.+tax to the payment
3) Not a very big discount, and the slight markup to the rate. That said, I have no idea what this vehicle sells for, though I would hope for a bigger discount, with the 2019 models already out.
But, it's all pretty straightforward, other than the markup.

From their viewpoint, this is probably a screaming deal, as they are used to marking up the rate to .00101.

Can you please post 2019 25T Premium? I didn't see an existing thread for 2019 numbers. One dealer is telling me 36 months is the better program, the other is saying 39 months. Can you please post MF and Residual below? My home zip is 33134 but am considering leasing the vehicle 200 miles away in 33714. Not sure if there is a difference. Thank you
